Like many Rap/Hip Hop artists they have a bad habit of sampling others music, MC Hammer's U Cant Touch This is straight from Rick James 1981 song Super Freak, even the phrase Can't Touch This was taken from that song, the bassline of Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby is from the 1981 David Bowie and Queen song Under Preasure.
Could give them more credit if they had some talent and could write of their own music.

Couple of songs are ok but generally it doesn't speak to me at all
My issue is that I find it hard to understand the popularity outside of African American populations - to me its a cultural expression and the idea of people from outside of that demographic becoming so into it is.... I don't know... poseur.....(look it up lol)
