Home Ground situation needs to change

@watersider Then why do we average more at the bigger stadiums?

Because they are other teams home grounds, and their fans turn up.

I really don’t care anymore where we play, I just want to stop being a nomad. We deserve ONE home ground. Toss a coin, pick from a hat - I don’t care but someone pick somewhere!

Yeah, it's got so bloody ridiculous that anywhere will do. Just pick a ground ya dope.

I must also say it was good to meet @innsaneink and @steven_tiger at the game today, thanks for the beer Steve!

Pleasure mate! Enjoyed chatting with you a lot more than I did watching the game!!

How do people feel about playing at an unchanged ANZ because the SFS has already blown out to $800m and I can just see the upgrades at ANZ being cancelled.

The $729 million Allianz Stadium redevelopment is already becoming a political nightmare for the SCG Trust and State government.

The Sunday Telegraph understands the project is not only running behind schedule but also way over budget just a few months after demolition work began.

Instead of opening in the new year of 2022 as planned, we’re told it has been pushed back to June/July which could put in doubt plans to play Origin at the new 45,000 seat venue as planned.

The original $729 million costing has blown out by almost 10 per cent to $800 million.

This will fire up those who campaigned for stadium money to go to schools and hospitals instead.

The work delays are also a major issue for their tenants the Sydney Roosters, Sydney FC and the Waratahs who were desperate to return at the beginning of 2022.

Leichhardt and Campbeltown.

Fans walk away from tonight's game wanting to come back. After watching the last four games at Bankwest, how much of a relief was it to come home? An actual home game.

It is ridiculous to play games away from our home grounds.

Make it happen O'Farrell and Pascoe!

@gallagher on a Thursday night in the suburbs against the Cows. How many do you want? That is a timeslot for the diehard fans and the club should listen to us as pretty soon we'll be the only people going to games, such is the NRL's desire to maximise TV ratings..

Leichhardt should always be a Sunday afternoon game. During a successful season you'd sell it out a few times.

All Sunday games at Leichhardt because its always a packed house.

All Saturday games at Campbelltown and much, much more promotion required in this area. We cannot continue to neglect the growing South West. It’s a huge catchment area for juniors.

All Thursday/Friday games at BankWest. Logistically it’s brilliant. Parramatta is the new CBD and most convenient in terms of public transport. In terms of getting the most people to games after work on a Thursday or Friday arvo/night, that’s the best chance to get them there. It’s a flashy new stadium and another opportunity to move in on another area to build a bigger fanbase.

Have a continued arrangement with Tamworth and potentially look to also include a game in Queensland (not against a QLD team).

What a great night. Even helped the young guards take down a few goons on the hill. Lebo music, Robbies 300 and a wild night. I loved it just teed off on the hill. Even the cops were giving me hugs tonight.

I like this idea but the nadless NRL bow to the broadcasters who determine what day games are played... Has merit good post imo

True, and because we rate well, we seem to get a lot of Thursday, Friday or Sunday games.

@tigertye sounds good, just as long as we don’t play one of our home games against parr’s at bankwest stadium.

Who ever thought that was a good idea should give them selves an uppercut.

It is my firm belief that the less Wests Tigers have to do with Bank West so much the better. True home grounds are the go for the Wests Tigers not artificial ones.

The problem is we as fans think with our heart (passion) but the powers of be think dollars and cents

The immediate stadium situation will
Be BankWest or ANZ .. heard a whisper that ANZ will not be upgraded in the current political cycle as there is going to be big blow outs at Alliance so looks like ANZ it is ....as Bankwest is to close to Parra leagues , back to the soulless no atmosphere ANZ the ground Tigers fans love .

My opinion is half our games at LO and half at CSS with whatever breakdown out of that for our Tamworth and maybe one at SCG or whatever....
Bankwest is no home ground for us. When I go there I feel like I'm putting money into Parramatta's pocket and it irks me.....I know we aren't but I still feel that way.
