Bankwest or ANZ

Parra Stadium will be too small with no parking .
The game would have to be moved to ANZ !

I am allowed to disagree, that is what a forum is for! You are allowed to rant on about Farah as much as you like though!

Make some friggin noise !!!

I make plenty of noise, it is the 20 empty seats around me that are a bit quiet.

Just because most people hold an opinion does not meant that I have to agree with it.

Finally, it is not Parra's stadium, it was not built for Parra!

When it comes to Rugby League it is ..

Oh and you’d better pm every league and radio commentator in the land and ask them why they all call it “Parra Stadium “

Never once heard it called Parramatta Eels Stadium, it was always planned to be a multi tenant stadium. That is why the government was seeking a content guarantee from the NRL!

I said Parramatta Stadium...
Not Parramatta eels Stadium!
...nice try !

Thought that the forum had moved passed this, as the numbers clearly show that Parramatta Stadium is at the bottom of the list and we have moved on to a vote that doesn't even include the ground. Thing is, just like me and the seven other seats we have there, most other seat holders feel the same way, that it does not feel like home and lacks a soul for us.

So what, it is a Government owned stadium in Parramatta. It was not built just to host Parramatta games.

@Cultured_Bogan So you don't think it is a little strange for someone to feel like they gave Parramatta money when they know they didn't? That is odd to me!

It is a government owned stadium that was paid for by the NSW taxpayers, the government did not build it to be Parra's home ground. They built it to be a multi tenant facility.

I find it weird that people would prefer ANZ over BW when it is completely soulless, has no atmosphere and totally inappropriate for our purposes!

Probably but no less strange that people see that the ground built across the road from Parra leagues on the old Parra Stadium site pretend that it is anything other than a new Parra Stadium.

Yes it's meant to be a multi tenant facility but Parra have shown that it's their ground and our supporters clearly don't believe it's ours. It's Parra's ground in winter and WSW's in summer.

Our fans have spoken already.

Most the people sitting around me are quite happy with BW.

Apparently you can only discuss this topic if you don't like BW, so I will stop posting. Sorry for having a differing opinion.

I wish that was the case federally, but once the votes are counted, we have no choice than to accept the result and move on.

There is absolutely no outcome to a poll on an internet forum.

How have they done that?

By not showing up? Been some ordinary turn outs there.

And in reference to the post after this saying you can't have a positive opinion of BW, no one is saying you can't. But the consensus is that it is still Parra's home ground.

You're quick to disagree with anyone crapping on it but as soon as someone disagrees with your positive viewpoint you're carrying on like your opinion isn't tolerated.

Absolutely there's not as it's not binding to anything. It's just canvassing forum members for their preference. If it's anything to extrapolate from though forum members aren't embracing BW.

For all its positives as a state of the art stadium and facilities, it is not an attractive proposition to fans compared to alternatives.

Mate that’s bullshit and you need to be called out for it. You have clearly stated your case and belief over and over. That’s fine, that’s what forums are for, but you seem to have a lot of trouble accepting a large majority of forum members don’t agree with your opinion on this matter. They are entitled to their opinion just as much as you. The lack of atmosphere you describe at ANZ is exactly how I and no doubt others have felt at BW. Doesn’t make us or you wrong, it’s just opinion.

If there are so many vacant seats around you at ANZ then the club needs to address it as they are either spreading members too far apart or members aren’t turning up and they need to get them to the game.

I have stated I will accept the club decision, I attend games at all our home venues. I even attended Tamworth. I just want one venue, even if it is ANZ which I hate.

I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me, in fact I usually enjoy a discussion that has multiple viewpoints. This afternoon there has been a tone to posts telling posters posting positive thoughts about BW that they are posting over and over and they need to get over it as the forum has decided.

One of the benefits of being a marginal electorate. Built a stadium under the fake premise it was multi purpose/multi tenant. At the end of the day it is an Eels Wanderers vanity project brought to you by an incompetent government that cannot future plan for the city or deliver any infrstructure that benefits the wider community while being delivered within budget

I'll apologise, maybe I am letting some mental health issues seep into my reading of posts tonight. I have just had very clearly pointed out to me that I am doing the same offline as well. Again I apologise!

Leichhardt.....

If we make the semis then the win is more important than the finances in this instance. Leichhardt Oval for sure if it’s our venue pick.
(But does it have to be a stadium?)
