If it hasn’t could we expect a business decision being made. It sucks but if your running a business seriously the contract would be pulled.

@bathursttiger fair counter point, we need someone that can do 80 minutes and have reasonable performance. Seems Luke and Lichaa would have strong points, Korosau I think is subject to too much competition so will cost too much money. Nobody we can really promote from within at this stage although I am intrigued by the thought of Brooks to 9 allowing us to recruit a thinking halfback. This would potentially allow Marshall to retire either end of this season or even by 30 June next season allowing WT to recruit, and a bit of a shuffle around with our backline players.

If you only have 2 roster spots left and limited options tough decisions need to be made. If you want to win you don’t make decisions based on sentiment or feeling sorry for someone.

No I won’t. But I will be VERY upset. Even more upset than when we signed Matt Ballin. And I was militantly upset then.

@Mighty_Tiger Get your opinion mate, from a club culture point of view I think it would detrimental. There are legal ways to do it such as medically retire him and it still insures he is financially looked after. I don't have a problem with that.

One thing I haven't seen in this thread is a response to Talua playing well. He was pretty poor. That wasn't a debut to remember. He might come good but based on that game he isn't a great option for us today. Hopefully he shows more if he gets more chances.
