How did Josh Reynolds go today

Didn't warrant a first grade spot imo, especially after Benji getting all the praise for winning us that game on Friday. He was franatic and his teammates weren't on the same page as him a lot of the times. His kicking game wasn't overly good, although the wind was against us in the second half. As usual the effort area is what he excels in, passion and commitment are attribute I saw from him this arvo. An ankle tap and put on a good shot to liven up his teammates.

The man himself said he was trying to play dry weather footy in the wet for a fair chunk of the game.

He played about as good as Benji has the past 4 weeks

Fairly average but he’s the wrong fit without Brooks anyway. We have to move on at the end of the season even though it will cost us.

No better or worse than anyone else which doesn't say a lot. A team with 2 ex SOO players and an NZ international take 80 mins to fall in against one of the bottom CC teams. Move along. Nothing to see here.

Geez some over reactions in this thread. Horrid weather conditions in a game full of drop balls and penalties.

Reynolds plenty of effort and saved a certain try but it looked like a game where the halves have never played a game together which they haven't.

Wests were coming home strong and the Knights were out of gas, felt like we were going to win that game in the last 10 minutes even down by 2.

Was completely disjointed. Ran around like a headless chook.

Got me thinking just how many people on here are old and/or travelled enough to have cut one off or seen the resultant actions of sans head poultry?

@TheDaBoss Reynolds is the one in the position of power at the end of the day with his $750k payable for the next 2 years.

Unlike many hopefully Josh can stay healthy and be reinstated to the 5/8 spot as the Tigers need some spark . Moving forward I feel he has to explore the ESL option as he would be a real crowd pleaser and a real bonus for any team the softer grounds sound help with injury ..he certainly will not see his contract out with the Tigers .

@851 He was that bad?!?!

No he wasn’t. Conditions were fairly atrocious. Wouldn’t expect anyone to shine in those conditions. Steady was the key. He had lots of energy. The next game will be the tell were his head is at.

The whole side played poorly and looked like a side that had just met each other. The halves were new with Madden also debuting. Josh tried too hard to do everything and probably needs at least another run to get his rhythm back.

Gamble was our best half today. And he played a combo of hooker and centre. Came up with the clutch play y to win the game
