How do you disqualify yourself for NYC

This may have come out the wrong way so I'll explain what I mean . In the past when players have played too many first grade games , they are unable to play NYC or reserve grade
What is the rulings on this now Do they still need to play X amount of games in NYC to qualify .Eg Miller plays 6 games in NRL top grade so becomes unable to play in NYC due to rules Hope that makes sense . ?? :crazy

I think it only disqulifies from finals representation in some cases.

Woods would be a prime example in this case
