How is our season looking?

well according to some on here nothing to worry about well bounce back make top four and be preimers hhhaaaaaa one eyed and stupid.

Realistically we are only 2 games outside of the top 4, so its certainly not impossible to make the 4\. Injuries permitting I see no other reason to suspect that we won't finish in the top 4\. The premiership, well thats another story. The last couple of years we have made it tough on ourselves, losing to Easts in 2010 stuffed us up and then getting knocked out by the Warriors in 2011\. Here's hoping that 2012 is our year.

Say what you like this team dosnt have a big winning streak in them,no no7 and lacking grunt up front. They might at best scrape into the 8 on the back of Farah Ellis and Marshall but I seriously doubt it

I have to be shown a bit more to think we can make the 8 ,10 teams can easily make the 8 no problem very close comp this one .I would of thought at least 3 & 3 at the very least by round 6.

Our season thus far is like a bad date with a woman you have courted for a while.

It has not lived up to expectation, you feel a little let down and start to question your judgement.

But you really like her so decide to have another go.

You never know you might get lucky at the end of it all

Well said.

It looks like a significant % of Tigers fans are either 'precious princesses', 'fair weather friends' or a combination of both.

Well the worm hasn't turned yet. Down to 25% chance of making the top 8\. The last time we lower than this was Round 12, 2009 when we were 4 wins from 11 games, sitting in 14th place.

And for those of us who prefer to look down, rather than up, the chance of getting the spoon has gone up to 15%, our highest in the last 4 years at least…

And the slide continues, down to 19% chance of making the top 8…

And again, looking down, things are starting to look grim. We are up to 18% chance of getting the spoon. This is the highest we have been since 2009…

It will increase when we put 40 on the Panthers!

This week is when our run of wins begins…. no losses until our bye and then come back refreshed for another winning streak.
Most teams have a slump ahead of them - we've already had ours.

We really don't need to put the pressure on ourselves to come up with 9-10 game win streak to make the Top 4 or semis again

Hopefully if we win the next three games the pressure will ease

It could be worse! The Sharks were unlucky to loose the first game.

And some would argue that we were unlucky to lose our game against Souths…

Good to see the graph heading in the right direction finally. Still a big hill to climb. We are up to 26% chance of making the top 8 after yesterday's win. I've expanded the number of years reviewed back to 2007.

And the chance of getting the spoon has dropped heavily to 11%.

A couple wins on the trot certainly has the line moving in the right direction. We are now up to 35% chance of making the top 8.

I've managed to model each year back to 2000 now. 2012 is our 2nd worst first 8 rounds, only beating 2003 where we were 2 wins and 6 losses, sitting second last on the table.

And the chance of getting the spoon is down to 6%. With another win or two in the next few weeks, I may stop posting this graph…

3 wins on the trot has helped to turn the line in the right direction. We are up to 41% chance of making the top 8\. That is better than we were placed at this point in the season in years 2003 (15%), 2004 (35%) and 2005 (33%).

![](http://s19.postimage.org/6ebyp4469/2012_8_r09.png)

The lowest we got in 2005 was 26% after 15 rounds.

I'm not going to bother with the spoon graph since we are down to 3% on that…
