How long has Taylor got

If the club are allowing this to happen to Farah, before doing anything to Taylor, they will surely see out Jason Taylor's contract. Wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Taylor knows what resulted from the Potter v Farah fracas and I would say that Taylor has decided to take the initiative so that he doesn't end up like Potter did.

Yeah, buts that's exactly what he deserves!

Why? Because you don't like him.

I'm over this club and the incompetent management past and present. Whilst I'm exceptionally disappointed at the handling of Robbie Farah, hopefully this decision will ultimately lead to JT being moved on from first grade coach or they can give him the reserve grade gig if the board are so infatuated with him.

Interesting the other day I was reading a article about how roosters rake j friend was running an average of 4.1 meters, ironically Robbies run meters have halved in 2015.. JT is trying implement a solution suited to the roosters and not to the Tigers, he is basically trying to turn a border line reserve grade team into the roosters. What's scary is he is willing to implement this unproven plan regardless of the long term costs. That is assuming we won't be buying the entire Roosters team in 2017

SMH reporting the players in support of Farah. I'd say JT may be transferred to the special projects unit shortly.

Cronulla supporter Phil Rothfield is having a picnic today with his paper extolling the virtues of Cronulla and declaring in his column that the Wests Tigers club is a disgrace. What a hypocrite with a very short memory span relating to his club.

JT will last till the end of the contract, or mid 2017 if we aren't performing. There's no way the board is going to create any more instability.

If the key players (Ted, Brooks & Moses) aren't willing to resign at that point because of coaching issues, we will need to look around with their input.

We are getting the spoon
The pressure on him would've always been there regardless… The decision on Robbie makes no difference

If people are supporting one player over the club... It shows just how toxic this place really is... Everyone has lost the plot and the old saying "no one player is bigger than any club" is still and will always apply today...
Don't forget your pitchforks

Certainly going to be hard to avoid the spoon and there would probably be a heap of pitchforks and axes out at Campbo this arvo if they could get them into the ground.

A good chance now that both protagonists will be gone shortly and I was as unhappy as most with the way the side was playing and being shackled earlier in the year, so am no great fan of Taylor. The current bloodletting at the club has seemed inevitable for some time and something's got to give.

Come this time next year I just hope that once the dust settles we are not discussing our coach or captain, whomever they may be and simply looking forward to a first finals appearance in five years.

Wishful thinking, I know.

I'm no great JT fan either… But what can we do?
Constantly bitching just gives me a headache... Seasons almost done... It's not like controversy and this club is a new thing.
... Weve all spent years being critical of poor decisions.. I'm tired of it all I think I just wanna see the end of season 15

I think goldy thinks like Robbie does… That Robbie himself is bigger than the club

I really don't want to sound like a "true supporter" cos they are a cancer to any rational debate regarding your team. But seriously the amount of people putting Farah above the club is out of control. Are you guys planning on following Farah out of the club? Because I'm not seeing any way you guys will be able to support this club with this management.

Paul Kent reckons the players don't like Farah. Who to believe? It doesn't really matter who the players have sided with.
The important thing is that the board have sided with Taylor.

Your point of you view that no player is bigger than the club is correct…
It has nothing to do with that, I dont understand why you keep cornering your point that way?
If we had experienced players, were winning more games than losing, had an experienced coach, not a coach that has put us on the bottom if the table, using excuses such as structures and winning doesnt count...
Then I could understand your point of view.
But agreeing with you while this amateur coach is tearing the little soul we have in this club will never happen...
That is the reason the magority are in Farahs favour.

Plenty of people also putting their faith in the coach and management to fix the club they support GNR - and we haven't got a good record in that respect.
Everyone will support the team regardless ,but no one can deny this whole mess has the smell of amateurs all over it ….again.

Majority? More like 50/50.

Couldn't agree more CK..

No coach or board is bigger than the club.. They like to present a positive spin on the status quo, though they have brought nothing to the table to give us at least some hope going forward, all we have is sales persons and sales pitches, I don't know how our sponsors feel about this or the other players? How's this all going to end up?

We are last in 2015 and all we have is promises from the board and coach, buzzwords like winning culture, structure, systems bla bla bla I've heard it all before and have seen massive projects fail because of sales persons and their lack of understanding of the agreed deliverables

Paul Kent has been one way one day and the other way the next
The players that have spoken out ALL have supported Farah , and have called the Claims about player unrest as complete rubbish , but then , their opinion isn't believable unless they say they can't play with Farah
Tedesco said straight out that he was great with the younger players in the team.
But what would he know???

Yet when they come out in support of the Coach with the same lines all season…

pffft What would they know...

There are two Rugby League Media (News Ltd & Fairfax). They usually if not always conflict with each other. You will find there is a strong News Ltd dislike for the WT and usually the trusty is reported in Fairfax SMH.

Any polls I've seen in the press, all through this car crash has been around 65 % opposing the clubAnd 35 % supporting it. Quite a big difference,
And before the usual ones jo in with" who cares what the general public think"
The sponsors and potential sponsors will care.
Really stupid when this could've been worked out so that everyone looked better

Given everyone at the club had no idea about the salary cap mess and the rebuild required it has become evident that Jason Taylor was appointed upon false pretences.

Would the board have appointed an inexperienced coach with a questionable track record for this?
Has he the temperament and ability to undertake this rebuild?

There are big questions which, when all is said and done the answers our fans won't like.
Get ready of 5 years running in the bottom 4.

Most players will tread the club line whenever they say anything, as they would be expected to, but to come out as these have in these circumstances, they would to have to feel pretty strongly about it, to risk getting offside with the club
It wouldn't be much of a problem for Pat , as he's rid of this lot anyway after the next couple of games.

not a massive Fan of Phil, but look at it from a public spectacle point of view here.
you have one club that was dogged by a drugs scandal for a considerable amt of time.
once they at that club got together and regrouped - they may just end up in the top 4 this season.
On top of that, Gals contract was up and lets be honest - he played between 8-12 games this season and if we were to apply the "salary cap baloney" to the sharks situation, theres no way Gal should have been resigned.
yet, somewhere in their management, their board, their coaching staff, their team ethos - they understand he is the captain. He has been the captian for XXX time …. thats not how you treat long memebers of your team community culture.
they got it right !
WT - bring in a new board, bring in a new coach ..... have hed plenty of years to learn from past mistakes....... and still get it massively wrong. just wrong.
i can sure as hell tell you, these young guns will not stay at this club for long with this coach and management.
