Given everyone at the club had no idea about the salary cap mess and the rebuild required it has become evident that Jason Taylor was appointed upon false pretences.

Would the board have appointed an inexperienced coach with a questionable track record for this?
Has he the temperament and ability to undertake this rebuild?

There are big questions which, when all is said and done the answers our fans won't like.

i think you may find, their werent too many contenders for the job at WT because of the instability at the club.
A new experienced coach could have galvanized the playing group and at least presented a united front.
this clown for a coach has not only taken the group to the cusp of the spoon, but is slowly killing off the confidence of the young because of his own ego

Conspiracy theory: is this what's happening?
Robbie won't play Taylorball and is disinterested in doing so. Taylor doesn't want to become the next Potter so does the power play and goes to the board wanting him gone. Board give Taylor enough rope to gang himself with, knowing that Robbie could not find anywhere this late in the season. Matter is handled so badly by Taylor that it breaks his contract by bringing the club into disrepute. They sack Taylor to bring in Toovey, and Robbie gets the kick up the arse and gets the fire in the belly again. Just a thought, or is it a wish.
