How many of you thought

It unfolded for exactly the same as when Luke Burt missed - the dialogue at the ground goes a little something like this:

Centaur - "I can't believe this, ***k ***t"

Centaur's better half yells to kicker - "Commeee onnnn miss it!!"

Centaur - "SHUT UP WOMAN!!! HE WON'T MISS THIS!!! HE HAS BEEN KICKING THEM FROM EVERYWHERE!!!! WE ARE GONE!!!"

Centaur's Mrs - "Sorry - I tried…"

What do you know, I attribute both missed goals to her optimism. God love her and God give me strength.

Honestly thought deep down he would miss it from the way he was setting up the tee. Looked nervous as all hell when setting up.
When there wa a scrum with 40sec to go that's when I started to lose my s@#% but seeing farah point to himself and declare I'LL GET IT helped ease the nerves

I was quite worried until the Raiders fan behind us said he hasn't kicked under pressure yet. Lo and behold, the pressure got to him.

I still held my breath for the next few minutes though I wasn't as nervous as last week.

It is sooooo much the same way Luke Burt took the kick. A left footed winger/centre kicks it from 10 m left of the post and misses it across the face of the right hand side of the post.

Also, I thought it was deja vu of Saturday as well if Crocker kicked it. They were missing Campese to a knee problem and we had been missing Benji with a knee problem.

And then the scrum, I could see Heighno pack into the front row and I got a sigh of relief.

Sitting there watching the game with my old man, "Surely it couldnt happen twice in a week?"
Then that scrum with 40 seconds left, all off season i'll be growing my nails back, theres nothing left

I thought we couldn't be lucky twice and he miss it and yes!!! I don't know if I could have stood another bout of extra time, the Canberra fans were gutted when he missed it, good, someone else's turn. ITS GREAT TO COME OUT ON TOP AFTER LAST WEEK- GO THE MIGHTY TIGERS

Had to have a laugh at the way Farah clutched the ball with bold arms as he gathered it from the scrum and took a run. It's almost like he was saying "See Heighno, THATS how it's done!"

Yeah he pushed Heighno to hooker …Lui fed the scrum and he accepted full captains resposibilty...

ONYA Robbie...

How sereal was it but... 😱pen_mouth:

OMG, 40 secs to go - scrum! At this point I was on the couch in the feotel position, saying - no, no, I can't take any more, please make it stop! A minute later Mr T and I are jumping up and down, high fives, screaming Tigers win, woo hoo! Ah, footy, it's killing me, but I love it!

Honestly as Gus was talking about the shot I became more and more confident he would miss it. By the time he actually came to kick it, Gus had me convinced he would miss it.

Although at the end with the scrum I shat myself.

I loved how Farah took control of the last scrum. Told Lui to feed it and made it clear that he was going to take the ball from the scrum. Packed into lock and then picked up the ball from the scrum and held onto it like it was the most priceless thing in the world, no one was going to take it off him. Then barked orders on every play-the-ball until the siren.

What a great captain we have.

I didnt watch I walked away changed the channel and listened to the kick on the radio on 2GB, there was no way I could sit through that again and against the team I hate more then any other team in the NRL, I thought he would kick it for sure and we were no chance in GOlden point becasue we never win Golden Point

and if he kicked it NINE would go crazy with their green machine bandwagon rubbish
