How much $$$$ is the Tedesco deal?

Honestly the non affiliated TPA's what would a company really get from a player worth a few hundred grand to the company. I really cant see the value from a company point of view unless its somehow a tax write off.

I understand possibly promoting a product or service but its basically just a rort from the top clubs IMO.

Particularly when these TPA's seem to always be secretive , who is spending thousands and not even promoting the fact they have signed player x ?

Thought I read that TPAs were max $600k above the salary cap.
Makes you wonder how the rest of the chooks team get by if they spend the majority of it on Tedesco!

Non Club Affiliated TPA are un capped with no limit on a players intellectual property..the can not however be guaranteed by a Club and must be approved by the NRL..

Club affiliated TPA's are guaranteed by the Club and is currently capped at 600K above the Cap and can be used for 1 player or a number of players under the Marquee Player allowance…

I always get a laugh when people mention 'intellectual property' and 'players' in the same sentence - especially when referring to Woods and Tedesco!

Not so much as "intellectual property" when Woods and Ted are concerned. They are more like vacant blocks with a portable dunny on the verge.

Someone should interview Schubert about the cap and TPAs. He was in Mudgee over the weekend and talking about how they did make progress but rorters and shoncos were untouchable

I guess there is many unknowns in the secret world of TBA dealings.
Is a limit to how many players you can have on TPA's?

He actually said that? Off record?

Yes. Think he meant contacts and structure meant their was a very deep bucket of TPAs that could not be stopped
