The FB pages has thousands of regular members…why should we know you?

I post on there regularly, and I’m the only one who has the first name of Bob.
Like I said, if you regularly read the 2 main FB pages, you’d probably know who I was off those pages.
Pretty self explanatory….

I think there is a point to a lot of what you say, but you obviously don’t stand out as much as you believe you do, because no one has any idea who you are. Idk what you consider to be the 2 main pages as there are dozens of groups on FB.

Hmmmm… talking yourself up, while putting others down. Any other clues on your A listing status? Eg, Do you refer to yourself in the third person or see yourself as a brand?
From the clues already given... Im going The Hayne Plane Or Bernard Tomic.

I’m not too keen on being referred as people I’m clearly not.
I’ve havent “talked myself up” besides saying I post on Facebook and I’m not a troll. Wow, what an achievement.
I have no “A listing status” either. Where did I say that ?
So, no, I’m not Jarryd Hayne nor Bernard Tomic…..

O.K so what does "Unlike you Patriot, I’m not swimming in anonymity here" mean?

Patriot is, for whatever reason, thinks that I’m either a) pretending to be someone I’m not or b) a really poor troll. I’m neither. However, both of those shoes fit rather nicely on the Patriot, after all. So does massive hypocrite, but that’s “putting others down”, and I’d only be confirming his rubbish posts. After all, according to him, Disagreeing with someone and having a different point of view is “talking myself up” and “putting others down” plus he has had 3 guesses at my identity, when in reality Im a nobody. Like I said, I’m me - weststigersbob. I’m also a regular poster on Facebook. If you regularly post there too - you’d know who I am. That’s it. Meanwhile, Patriot, who presumably doesn’t know me nor I him, from a bar of soap, is perfectly free to attack me for whatever reason he likes - completely anonymously. That’s swimming in anonymity. Attacking people for having different and minority opinions personally for no reason at all…

Most of those quotes that you used in demonstrating how the Patriot is a hypocrite were from my posts, not The Patriots.
The "Putting others down" "talking myself up" and the three (incorrect) guesses were all my posts.
Also the question of "swimming in anonymity".

I found a Bob on Facebook! … could be a Cowboys supporter though.

Sorry, but no. Not a troll. Not Benny Elias or Isaac Moses. If you are on the 2 major Facebook group pages, you’d know who I was as I’m a regular on there.

Ohhh so your Cathy Gavo, that explains it?

Unlike you Patriot, I’m not swimming in anonymity here. And no, I’m not Cathy Gavo.

Hmmmm… talking yourself up, while putting others down. Any other clues on your A listing status? Eg, Do you refer to yourself in the third person or see yourself as a brand?

To be fair TD, Patriot was the one who came out swinging first. Bob just expressed an opinion about the article, which he is allowed to do, and tbh it's an opinion that many of us have shared about the club over the years, so I can't understand the vitriolic backlash just because he has a different take on it.

Hopefully Bob's reservations will become null and void and the club will continue to go on in leaps and bounds, but he's right at present, it's still very early days and perhaps we shouldn't be cracking the champagne bottles open just yet.

Ftr, I don't agree with him that there was a smugness expressed in that article, but everything is open to interpretation and if that's how he sees it, then fair enough.

Disagree on the Patriot coming out swing first. Bob was calling anyone who applauded The Club a "circle jerker" in his first paragraph of his opening post . I don't think I'm a circle jerker because I think the club manager has done a good job.
I think the issue got diluted because Bob brought his social media profile into the discussion.
I agree Spud hopefully Bob's reservations become "null and void"and I respect Bob's right right to express his concerns about how to the club is managed. Over the last few years The Club as a whole was managed badly. In my opinion the current people involved have done a tremendous job in turning the club around (on and off the field) and now is a good time to acknowledge that the current parties involved have made a difference. You will still get people bagging The Club no matter what they do. The bookmakers still have us at 3.50 to make the 8 so our on field winning ratio is predicted to come to an end soon. Then the Benny's, Buzz's and Bob's of the world will get to say, I told you so. Until then, Is it o.k to give some credit to The Club?

I know a Bob on FB and would like to ask Bob what Pascoe has in his top drawer…?

He has a contract for Nathan Cleary worth 1.4 million a season for 5 years.

Fair enough don, I didn't take the 'circle jerk' comment in the same way as a personal affront, but looked at it as more of a ' let's not go off too soon' warning, much like my champagne bottle analogy. Either way you're right, it was a poor choice of words for Bob to start his posting life on here.

Happy for the club to have some good press for a change, no question - they deserve it after all the crap of previous years. However, I won't be getting my hopes up too high for a 'golden era' just yet, we still have a long way to go to be a truly successful club, both on and off the field, but at least we appear to be heading in the right direction.

Cool..Is it signed..?

Absolutely not.
It Hasn’t even officially been offered to him yet.
It’s ready to go though, November 1.
Apparently Nathan’s manager let it slip to Penrith that that’s the figure WT are offering - unofficially of course. No club has ever negotiated with an agent outside of the approved periods set by the NRL. But all the management at the ‘Riff know about it, and it’s priority #1 - shock shock. According to my source, Penrith believe it’s between them and WT to sign Cleary…..
