How will we respond?

Hard crunching tackles on their halves, each time.
Let them taste and eat the surface of the playing field, get it in their ears, eyes up their nose.
I'm sure they will enjoy it.

This game is the "indicator" it will show exactly were we are, we've battled and bled through 248 mins of quality oppositions with refs somewhat in their pockets at times and i look at us 3-0.
I do agree points need to come soon but against Parra who showed no defensive structure or will to be there and compete…..i feel we will see some meat pies on Easter monday.

I know we technically lost last night but i cant believe how great the start of this season has been for our club and its fans.
No matter the 17 chosen next week, They'll be the ready to jump especially if there's a debut player or 2 for the club.

Hopefully Parra will feel the full force of our fury and disappointment at being dudded last night (their no 7 in particular).

And hopefully we can actually crack their defence and score some points! 27 points in 3 games of footy is just nuts! A 27/25 for and against ratio after 3 rounds must be some sort of record.

Happy it's a longer turnaround this week, I think the boys need it both physically and mentally.

People probably won't agree with this but, we need strike power out the back. We need Tui playing fullback and getting creative. Thompson runs hard but, he's never going to be a legitimate point scoring option.

Your off ya tree mate!
I think you need to do some homework and have a look at his figures over the years.
He got 3 in the trials and one against the chooks and nearly got a hold of the grubber last night under the sticks.
He can find the line as good as anybody.

Ivan just needs to repeat in team meetings every day for the next week: "Mitch Moses faked mental illness in an attempt to ditch you blokes". Enough said.
Hopefully Mitchy's head resembles a smashed Cadbury Creme egg come Easter Monday. Head-hunt the shifty bludging coward

When Thompson was at the Bulldogs he could always find a way to score, very under rated.

There is lots of motivation. Get one back on "this is my house" Hayne and rub moses face in his "i want to play at a club that makes finals" comments.
Eels have scored 4 points in 200 mins of footy. Now they're up against the toughest defensive side in the comp STAT. I don't think that will make it easy for us though. It will be good to see what Ivan has up his sleeve this week.
I'm loving our forwards BTW. Can't wait to see the grub in our strip.

Win the game, smash Mitch, make him chuck a tantrum and wants out

Oh and hope Parra sign Farah and slows them down more

We will starts favourites for the first time this season.

And legitimately we would have looked to this match as the most manageable opposition in the first 5 rounds.

Parra obv struggling to put much together in attack or D, so our level of defence first 3 rounds should cause them a load of trouble.

The major weakness is because we haven't had a load of attacking success, a tight scoreline might have the Eels thinking they are a shot of their first win.

As others have said, real test of our new grit and style against lower opposition. We cant take the foot off the pedal and certainly need to get ourselves motivated as for any top side. Will be a real indicator what kind of mental toughness Ivan has managed to instill.

Just run the ball at him all night. He'll hit the deck and feign injury. Who's their second choice 7?

Eels have scored 18 points in 3 games. Hayne, Meroa, French maybe out. If Tui or Reynolds can play this week we should win this game and I have a feeling our attack if it’s a dry weather game will click.

Ultimately I think our attack needs Liddle, Brooks, Reynolds with Marshall off the bench to put points on.

I hope they are even more determined to take that disappointment out on the eels and that wimp moses. unbelievable weekend Smith ball tampering and Klien Game tampering
