Is our new CEO the quietest man in town?

Paul Osborne has been in the Parra CEO role for a couple of weeks and is in the paper every second day talking up the club, potential signings, the future, etc, etc.

Our man has been in the job a couple of month and we havent heard boo from him.

What's up? Would be nice to know his plans for the club.

Should be in the joint soon if not already behind the desk. I'd say he's already there considering the announcement of two signings and the new sponsorship drive in the past fortnight

At the presentation at BLC after the Cowboys game, it was announced that he had started that week, and that game was his first in the job.

He was introduced to the crowd there, and spoke very well, and confidently.

Early impressions are that he will do well!!

Partially the salary cap issue.

However also the perception about the club. It is widely percieved that our admin has been run like amateur hour for many years. We have had the forune of a well driven PR machine but really apart from Longmuirs success in his marketing role I cannot see an area where we could not be better and more proffessional.

Humphries certainly has the right business pedigree to fix those issues both actual and perceived

I am sure that our CEO and our coach would have had at least one long in-depth discussion since his arrival and I would venture to guess that team changes have come about because of this. I would think that he would have addressed all of our teams and explained to them exactly what he will be striving to attain in his short and long term goals. Things are starting to move and they are all moving together in the right direction. I get the feeling that all of our teams are much more bonded and playing better football since his arrival.

You want a leader to lead. That includes communication and dealing with the media.

I would like to hear his plans for the club, both short-term and long-term.

I will give him some extra time as I thought he had been in the job for more than a week but I expect our CEO to be on the front foot and proactive in getting his message across.

Lets leave the team to get the media coverage from winning football matches and leave Junior Humphries to sure up some money to keep the club going.

The only CEO'S ive seen a lot of this year in the media want to go and jump off the Gap .The most succsesful leaders in life are the ones that don't bring attention to themselves and go about there business creating great things..I'm sure we will see and hear about good things happening soon i have no doubt have patience!

The most successful CEOs of the modern era are Bullfrog Moore and Arko.

Both were very active and media savvy. They were leaders of their clubs and the game (even though as a Wests supporter I hated both).
