I am so pumped for footy

I can't believe how pumped up I am for the footy this year. I craving every opinion, news and info I can find any where.

I have never felt this way about a season. I'm normally this focused when getting close to the finals.

All I have to say. Congrats and thank you to the Tigers for the way they play footy. To forum member on here for give me insights in what other fans are thinking. And all tigers fans. I'm So excited this year.

I'm the same Coolcat, usually I look at all the squads and think " I think we can make the 8" but this year I'm confident that were going all the way. Buckle up and enjoy the ride forummers!!

I'm wondering if this year will be the usual roller coaster or a merry go round? I really enjoy the roller coaster, that is the Weststigers.
 
At the start of 06…..lol

Remember round one where we played the Dragons and snapped them again?....before it all went to poo.

before you know it the season will be over, it happens every year - time waits for no person, this year feels different because with the additions of Joel Reddy and Adam Blair it feels as though the pieces of the puzzle have come together. i dont know why i say that really - its just a gut feeling. On paper who has a better team than us? Lets be realistic, we need to be in the grand final.Anything else is unnacceptable.
 
Agree X. I'm sure I posted it after the loss to the warriors last year about how bad we would want it this year. 'hanging out of a tree' were my words if I recall. The last two years particularly last season should have us motivated no end.

I look at our team and I honestly believe we should finish in the top three. Once in the finals, well I hope we've learnt from the past two years.

In saying this I'm not trying to boast, just my sincere thoughts on us. I won't be getting carried away, just taking it one game at a time.(god knows I've been wrong in the past!). I hope the boys have this same belief and attitude. Let's get this started!!

I agree, feel very confident about this year probably more so than previous years. Just have to minimize 'dumb mistakes'. We have greater scoring potential and ability than manly and melbourne but when the rubber meets the road they just make the odd mistake where we seem to make the odd 'dumb' mistake. By dumb i mean almost child like that puts us on the back foot and instantly we go into 'low self worth mood' and implode.
I know that we chance our arm and it has proven successful but i believe patience needs to be learned and applied to the game plan and we will be very hard to beat.
 
Cant wait… There is an air of expectation about our squad and it is a good feeling.

Although, I did notice this morning Laurie Daley is down to his Top 2 and its between the Warriors and the Tigers for the Top Spot for 2012, so I'm hoping he picks us as coming 2nd so not to put the kiss of death on us!

C'mon Tigers... Fish are Food!!!
 
Yes must agree cant wait till Sunday, with an early morning game of golf & my son working for me so my daughter & i can go to the footy, bring it on.
 
I have literally been HANGING out for footy since the warriors semi final game.

the cricket has been good over summer, but the sniff of the trials, and the prospects of our new signings has kept me on the edge of my seat over the last few months..

In fact, if I didn't have Battlefield 3 to distract me over the last few months worth of nights, I probably would have sat in the darkness on my lounge room quietly rocking back and forwards thumb in my mouth mumbling to myself "Brown, Ryan, Utai, Tedesco, Humble, Reddy, Moltzen, Miller!… so many choices! so many choices!!" :smiley:

But serisouly, I can't wait for Thursday night, let alone Sunday - Ill be parked on the lounge with much interest to see how the new look Knights hit out.

and of course lads, don't forget - tonights CHOOSEDAY night game is the Chris Lawrence Debut - think we should pat ourselves on the back here, because I believe this forum single handedly got that game over the line when it came to voting.
 
Did anyone see the montage on the footy show last night of the 05 season?? Just brings tears to my eyes!!!!
Bring on 2012 let's get another cracking season in and go all the way!!!
