It was great, first time in a while that I didn't want to leave the ground early!
 
I was thinking on the way home how, today, Ivan must have realised he is now part of a special club. Doesn't get much better than a big crowd at Leichhardt. I also reckon poor old Aaron and Teddy may be feeling they are going to miss out on a special period in our history. I reckon the next few years are gonna be great. New admin, new coach, new culture and Benji's back!
 
I was trying to stay unemotional. Seemed to be working until we scored to make it 20-12\. Then a little bit of me started getting involved and by the end of the game I was screaming at the telly. Awesome. God I love this team.
 
wow i was completely indifferent- way less animated then i've been usually.

with 3 to go, i just didn't care. I was just thinking whatever happens, these guys played a really good game. Then malakai went over and i just knew it'd be a no try. then it was a try, took a few minutes for me to realise what had just happened.

LOL…my missus worries the neighbours think weve got DV going on when Im yelling at refs decisions against us on TV
 
I know this is a dampner but farout the refs these days are so annoying. Imagine the atmosphere and the shenanigans at Leichhardt if he just gave the try straight up. Now the crowd at games only half go up cause they know that every decision goes up stairs and against a team like manly i thought we would of got robbed.

But UP THE TIGERS really great seeing DCE having a cry at the ref after the try. UNLUCKY!!!

We are all suffering from Stockholm Syndrome .. a comeback win is something we are not used to..lol
 
One of the things I love after a win is just soaking up every detail. I try to watch the game again, view all the player interviews, read every forum post, watch all the fox shows, I might even buy the Tele tomorrow…. no stuff em, I'll just read everything online!!

My Missus can't understand why I swear at the TV when we play so she goes to another room, I'm with ya, my neighbours know when the TIGES are playing!.

I have been crying for years and they have closed down Callan Park so I have no where to go!
 
Our lounge room erupted. We knew we were gonna win it with 10 to go. They just had to. You could feel it. We were trying to work out who would do it. And after being beaten by uate twice, Malakai had his vengeance. Great story there. What a finish, and what a ground. Congratulations team.
 
I was supposed to be working but instead was screaming at the TV after the last try. But prior to that I did not mind if the boys lost because they had put up a gutsy performance. That is all we can ask. Loved Woodsy mentioning fibro and Twal's smile was radiating (presuming it was him with a haircut).
 
Yep…guilty of jumping around hollering and carrying on after the game.
Living in Newcastle, all I've heard the past fortnight are comments about them catching us.
I almost couldn't watch that last 10 mins.

Glad I did.
 
I couldn't just go home after the game (although I should have).. needed to yell and scream after the game. got home a couple of hours ago. The pubs in Balmain were going off. So many Tigers jerseys and emotional slaps on the backs to complete strangers.

I'm in the same boat. Haven't watched or read much on footy this year due to the slim pickings. Plenty of reading/watching this week though!

Even had a flick through the live game thread on the manly forum. The salty salty tears are delicious! Best bit is by page 10 ( half time) it's all about how this will be great for the eagles f&a and top four is a lock! Then….slowly....the doubt starts creeping in. Page 30 the anger starts. If you finish reading everything else it's worth a view lol
