I Guess That's Why Tom Waterhouse Doesn't Know What I Want

No I think I confused you. Hot dogs, beers and bums on seats are NOT revenue raisers.

Haha. Don't think Waterhouse has anything to do with the hot dogs. Haha. Unless he donates some dud horses from his mums stables for the meat. Bahaha.

let Waterhouse take the same route as other advertisers, stick them on during the ad breaks….....I find the gambling and betting comment intrusions in the coverage a turn off, when i see them i just think of all the betting junkies being sucked into another little hit. I'm a quickdraw on the mute button when those buggers show their slimey dials..... 😕

I hate the incessant and intrusive nature of odds for the footy during the telecast, but as a commentator, is he any worse than Layla McKinnon or Matt Shervington? In fact since his business is based on it having a greater understanding of the sport than the average punter, id say what he had to say would potentially be far more meaningful than the wife of the boss of channel 9

Just in a purely commentating role, I certainly do think he is worse than Shirvo or McKinnon. Waterhouse and Hadley shouldn't be near a mic.

Do not like the idea of gambling advertisements on prime time TV and updating the odds.

If we have to put up with a Waterhouse then I would not mind his cute sister, Kate filling in.

This isn't going to be a popular opinion but I think when you're paying $10 million a year its fair enough to get some pretty high exposure.
He needs to work on his presenting skills though.

If he is paying $10 million a year he would expect to make at least that amount off TV viewing current or converted punters just to break even.

I turned on the footy last night at 7.46 and guess who was on. Then within the next 6 minutes he had been on a further 2 separate times. 3 times in 6 minutes is very excessive and was a real turnoff for me, literally, I turned the channel and didn't watch the game live after that. He has wasted his money on people like me but what about the other poor buggers that have been sucked in and done their dough.

Interesting to read singo sacked Gai Waterhouse because amongst other things she passed on details about the condition of more joyous to her son and not to him, the owner.
At the least giving the bookie an unfair advantage. Maybe we may not have to watch him much longer.

All Waterhouses are the same

Crooks and scum ,good thing is Murrihy won't let this slide

The you know what will hit the fan

Was so good watching him squirm on WWOS this morning. He was an arrogant little a-hole who was constantly interrupting Ken Sutcliffe as well. I wanted to wack him over the head

Singo also said he didn't put 100k on More Joyous because he believed she was injured and yet didn't think to pass this info on to the stewards or media BEFORE the race. The Waterhouses may have their issues but Singo is just as self-interested as he's ever been.

He's the OWNER, not the TRAINER ! If you have no idea on racing then don't comment on it

FORMER jockey Allan Robinson says he is the "friend" at the centre of the Gai Waterhouse-John Singleton dispute over the star mare More Joyous, as league legend Andrew Johns reiterated that he had not been tipped off about the mare's condition.
>
Robinson today said he phoned Singleton on Saturday, hours before More Joyous performed poorly in the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) at Randwick.
>
He said he had spoken with a "friend" who had been in contact with rugby league immortal Andrew Johns.
>
Robinson said Johns had been told by bookie Tom Waterhouse "not all was right" with More Joyous, which finished seventh in Saturday's race.
>
Racing NSW stewards are expected to call Robinson to give evidence at Monday's hearing into the matter.
>
Johns today dismissed claims Waterhouse had tipped him off about the fitness of More Joyous prior to the ANZAC Day NRL match between the Sydney Roosters and St George-Illawarra.

"As is the usual practice before matches, Tom and I engaged in some light-hearted discussions concerning rugby league and racing," Johns said in a statement.
>
"I took the opportunity to quiz him about Saturday's big race meeting at Randwick, asked him what he liked and if there were any specials.
>
"Tom replied that he didn't like It's A Dundeel, More Joyous and All Too Hard.
>
"The conversation was largely about It's A Dundeel."
>
Johns said there was no discussion "at any stage" about the health or fitness of the highly fancied More Joyous, which finished seventh.
>
He said he had stressed this point to Singleton.
>
Gai Waterhouse was at the Warrnambool race meeting in western Victoria today where she spoke at a private lunch, but declined to comment on the affair.

Tom Waterhouse says he lost $300,000 on the race as a result of More Joyous's poor run.
>
"All I said to Andrew Johns is that I was going to take on All Too Hard and It's A Dundeel (Queen Elizabeth Stakes) and in my opinion Epaulette was the value runner in the All Aged Stakes," Waterhouse said in Monday's Daily Telegraph.
>
"I backed More Joyous on the day and I backed Epaulette. I lost $300,000 on the race."

Joey seems to be singing a bit more than he did on Sunday
