When you think of the pack we have and depth
and spending 500k and having the posibility of losing Fifita and other future stars its just not worth it
I would prefer just making sure we have enough for our upcoming stars
- Fifita
- Woods
- Murdoch Masila
And what happens if Mullaney makes it..

Do you think its worth it?

Id want Blair but not for that money. Thats way too much. Id rather spend 3/4 the money on a more destructive backrower, centre or even a fullback

Yes of course.

'We have had a chat to Adam Blair's manager,'' Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys said. ''We think he's a fantastic player and we've expressed interest in him. We've left it in their court.

''It'll just be a matter of them sifting through the various possibilities for Adam. We're hopeful of hearing something in the next week.''

Even if Tigers were to get Blair..

Fifita, Woods, Murdoch Masila would most likely all remain anyway.. They would free up other players

Adam Blair is a great footballer and would be a big asset to any football side, but that not Wests Tiger like. We have built a very good football side without having to poach valuable established members of other NRL sides.

From what we saw tonight and with players still to come back we don't need him still think we need a more reliable goal kicker

Stupid thread is stupid.

Adam Blair is a classy international player who'd any team would want.
However extremely over-priced and I think Fifita, Woods and Murdoch-Masila are all future Adam Blair type players.

I believe the only teams willing to pay that price are the already over-the-cap doggies and rabbitohs or the struggling teams like the eels and sharks.

If he's all about the coin, let him chase the dream overseas.

Blair had a less than memorable performance tonight.

Still think he is a good buy at the $350K price tag he will most probably go for.

Fafita, Woods and BMM will not be the casualties of Blair, our depth will suffer though.

i wouldn't be so sure.
fafita will need a contract upgrade and if woods keeps on improving so will he.

i've seen some rather silly suggestions on how we can save money, but i don't really see where the dollars will come from.
some have said utai, but he isn't even a top 25 player in the cap.so no saving there.
some have said flanno, but i doubt he is on a huge contract, the same with brown and daniela.

without knowing every contract it is hard to really know our cap status, but geez it looks tight when you figure you are adding salary increases to a number of players.

guess we will just have to wait and see.

Who you talking about tig prmz?

Blair: 2nd row or front row
Graham: front row

Graham plays in the super league for st Helens and reps for England. Can play great minutes for a prop and has some fantastic skills with the ball in hand similar to toddy payten. He certainly wouldn't be cheap but if we were gonna fork out big bickies for a forward I would want him. Can he kick goals?? Unfortunately no. Would be nice if he could!
