but did anyone else catch the spray a few Newcastle fans gave the Knights on the way back into the sheds,
being a Tigers supporter but with links to the Knights,
I was as disgusted to witness such a display.

After a pretty tough game that was 10-6 up until the last 10 or so,
I thought both teams weren't great but that was due to the conditions the game was played in.

I know I have vented on here after a loss,
but I would never direct it at the players straight after what was a tough & tight match for the majority of it.

Didn't think the Knights deserved it,
& I hope no Tigers fans would do that after a game like last night.

Hold on Pug306, I believe our fans gave our team heaps last weekend, so I guess we all lose our cool at times!

Difference is that the Tigrs deserved everything the fans gave them last week because they lost 50-10\. Newcastle only lost 23-6 and for most of the game it was very close

I loved it how Newcastle fans were giving it Wests Tigers fans about our loss to Souths…. but if Souths can beat us, and we can beat you...

I was more stating the fact it was a close game & that is how the fans react,
If it was 50-6 last night,
fair enough,
call out out a players for not having a dig,
but for the majority of the game it was a tight contest.

I was in Newcastle when they got trounced 50-0 by Parra in '05,
just don't remember that kind of reaction.

I have walked away disappointed from a few big WT losses,
but to give it to players after that sort of game is a bit harsh.
