…when we win that is.

No, not really, I love it when we are backs to the wall, when the chips are down, when we're rank outsiders, when no-one gives us a shot...up against in in form 3rd place team running hot, without our inspirational (C)....reminds me of the dark days around 01 - 03 etc.....going to games not expecting to win...just hoping, and occasionally catching a big one and wasnt it oh so sweet.
The upsets were rare but very nice.

_I think we need to put the controlled discipline (to an extent) Wests Tigers aside and unchain the shackles, loosen the belts and thro it around....they need to play footy, not play for possesion and field position(to an extent).....just let the ball sing boys, back to the days of you score 30, we'll score 36._

A desperate WTs is a dangerous WTs, wish Robbie was there....and never thought Id say this, but Moltz too...we could use his speed.

Stuff the expectations....heres hoping! 😛ray:

been saying that ALL week. attack takes a while to gel together, defense is all about attitude.. defense takes less time to come together than attack.. we need to go on an attacking spree right now

all teams say that their attack shines on the back of good defense, we're the opposite.. our defense shines on the back of good attack.

this is very negative, but i highly doubt we will be able to stop the dogs from scoring, the form they're in and the hole we were in 2 weeks ago…it's really hard, JUST hoping for a benji masterclass

Just don't get too disappointed. No one can beat the doggies now that Hasler is in the process of fine tuning. To me winning this game is like winning the lotto. There is a hope.

No expectations AHX….just hope....like the old days

Its also a lot easier watching them this way, no headaches, fingernails generally still intact by F/T and the woman in the row in front hasnt heard 10 years worth of muffled swearing in 90 mins

From time to time u question my faith in Sheens. Tonight is one of those nights. But we shouldn't blame Sheens tonight but the injury gods.

Benji's recent performances have been not dissimilar to Sandow's - trying to play a controlled style of footy, putting away the natural instinct. He is a much better player when he plays on his instincts. When we won nine in a row last year Benji was playing his natural game.

Time to cut loose!

I remember two classics against the Broncos -

the 2003 game where we went to Lang Park and won 12-10 in miserable conditions with a rag tag bunch of misfits against the full force of the Broncos - one of Benjis first games.

and the one in 2006 when some stringy shaggy haired 17 year old kid called Chris Lawrence Debuted and stood up Casey Maguire on the outside from 40 metres out to score…

But yeah, there have been drubbings as well - plenty of them.

Yeah, I've been thinking of those games against the Bulldogs circa 2003 a lot today. Given no chance but stood toe to toe with the best. They were some epic games! We didn't win many but the ones we did were extra sweet.

What year was the one where the Bulldogs dropped the ball from the kick-off but the ref missed it?

Sheens IS connected to the players, like a baby & the mother in the womb. Strange thinking Ink, but I'll go with it.
