I see another club benefits from the WTs...

T.M.Martin made a sensational debut for the Panthers last night…another one leaves and shines elsewhere,I'm wondering what he would have done for us if we weren't so adament about making Brooks and Moses our future..Moses is getting better,Brooks has to do more if we are to have complete confidence in him...time will tell no doubt....

Are you serious? Wait until he has 50 games under his belt.

I watched the whole game and it certainly wasn't what you would call 'sensational'.
'Solid' would be stretching it.
Only reason people are hyperventilating is because he kicked the field goal.
If Soward kicks that goal you wouldn't have heard any more than he went ok in his first game.
He's got the talent but don't think he's ready just yet.

Sometimes, good players move on. It happens. Looks like he has talent.

But the Tigers have benefited from picking up young players from other clubs & I don't hear our fans feeling sorry for the club they come from. That's life.

I hope TMM has a great career.

If I had to choose between Moses or Brooks or TMM , the one that misses out for me is TMM all day.

If Im wrong and TMM ends up being better, I (and the Tigers powers that be) wont be alone, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in recruitment that would not have him behind those 2.

When you have a crop come through you try and keep the best ones, but you cant keep them all, nor will you always get it right.

Penrith, Warriors and Newcastle constantly have this issue.

He had some good touches sure , but I'm not sure I'd say he was sensational

I didn't see the entire game…sensational was quoted by a commentator...obviously a talented young man though...

Saying this as gently as I can, you really should watch the whole game if you are gonna start threads about how a single player went. Quoting commentators - well it's their job to be over the top.

Jirskyr,I will say this as gently as I can, read the title of the thread and my original post…
Another club benefits from the WTs...referring to our talent going else where,Iam saying that we have a great juniors and development base...but then someone else gets them and they do well.....I have never had a problem with your input or comments, however if I do desire to start another thread on any topic I will out of interest and conversation without fear of conviction....

No offense intended, just that you gave an opinion of a game you later said you didn't entirely watch.

No doubt he's a talent and it's a shame to lose any such player, but myself and some others don't think he had a sensational game.

By all means, please start any topics you wish.

I would like a list of Wests Tigers juniors we have developed and let go who have gone on to have a massive benefit to the other Clubs… I can provide a long list who have not...

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always considered Te Maire as big a talent as both Brooks and Moses. He dominated NYC as much or more than they did and he's always seemed to have a better character which I value immensely in long term recruits.

It would have been good to keep him this year, so that we had a back up plan if one of the others go elsewhere! It would if also been good bargaining power to push the other two too sign. As they both now know we have no other options and will have to pay overs to keep them!!

Hindsight is a beautiful thing, what if we would have let go of Moses and he kicked the winning field goal for the Panthers.
We had to make a choice between the 2 and I think we have made the right one.
I'm sure the same will be said if we stick with Cherrington and Jacob Liddle goes and becomes a hero for some other Club. Sometimes you will make the right call and sometimes you will regret it.

There is one player that Sheens got it massively wrong and that was Brett Hodgson, he easily had another 5 years of NRL footy in him.
We have always kept every player we have wanted except for Scott Prince.
