I thought it was a stitch up: Tedesco
Thursday 18 April 2013 8:16 AM

Wests Tigers young gun James Tedesco didn't believe it when he got the call to tell him to back his bag and head to City training.
After just four NRL games, the Wests Tigers junior has been drafted in to Brad Fittler's side to play fullback in place of the injured Jarryd Hayne.
"It was very surprising when I got the call up," said Tedesco.
"Simon Dwyer called me and I thought some of the boys were stitching me up.
"I'm very excited to get in the camp now.
"It's just sinking in and I'm going to be ready for Sunday."
Tedesco is hoping his first rep camp will serve to lift his game when he returns to Wests Tigers to take on Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Stadium in Round 7.
"I think it will definitely improve it," said Tedesco.
"Playing with some quality players in this squad will help my game.
"I'm hoping I can bring the experience back and hopefully play some good footy for the Wests Tigers.
"I'm going to be pretty honoured playing fullback for City."

It's a huge opportunity for tedesco to show how good he is and that he can perform in the semi big time. If he plays well it could be a game changer for him and could change the complextion of the tigers lineup. Fingers crossed he can do just that. I have a feeling he will do something special. Good luck

Can see he will have a big game and Potter's hand will be forced

Best thing that could of happened for Teddy and his career

This is the first time i have heard him speak in an interview he spoke pretty well.

WT players in city/country is our equivalent to melbourne storm players in the kangaroo side. Shame we are not at that level.

what? no its not; people are just happy to be able to see teddy and sirro succeed as well as how they perform away from the tigers and at a whole new level.

it's not like our Big 3 is teddy, sirro and reddy….least i hope not.
