Round 25:

Canterbury-Bankstown lose to Newcastle (hurts Souths)
North Queensland beat Cronulla (only because I'm being realistic)
St George Illawarra beat Warriors (so we can jump the Warriors)
Brisbane smash South Sydney (so Souths are gone)
Wests Tigers beat Gold Coast (obviously!)

Round 26:

Newcastle beat South Sydney (to really rub it in to Souths)
St George Illawarra lose to Penrith (just because everyone would love to see this)
Warriors beat North Queensland (gets us ahead of Cowboys)
Cronulla lose to Wests Tigers (locks in 4th for us)

... and there we have a brilliant scenario of Tigers top 4, Dragons 7th/8th and facing elimination and Souths missing the finals altogether.

Im predicting Tigers vs Dragons in first week of finals with Tigers 4th Dragons 5th. They should beat Warriors and Penrith while we should overtake Cowboys on for and against as we have easier teams

The rest will sort itself out, and we'll be in the best shape to beat whomever we play in the first week of the semis.

thats gold - and besides lockyer has the record now, so i wouldn't be all that disappointed if he got injured.

Souths can still miss the 8th, the dragons limp into 7th/8th and take on sea eagles or melbourne, and the Broncos Go Limp.

Absolutely the best result.

How good is it knocking teams over convincingly without Lawrence, Ellis and Tiquiri ? Next 2 weeks, the trickle return of our top players to get some game time under their belts. I think regardless of who we play in the finals we will have, for one of the first times this season, our top 13 on the park. Warming very nicely.
