Ideas for Rugby League expansion

With Vegas front of mind.. PVL talking about other places to take them game in the future I’ve been thinking you wouldn’t want to mess with the current format of the NRL as it’s working and has a packed schedule.
However with the threat of R360 , SuperLeague in the UK struggling I think it time to look at a short form international competition similar to R360.

Clubs that dont make the top 8 should play a cup style comp while finals are played.

You could have it played anywhere really.

USA and Middle East would be my picks initially. Both markets hungry for content to sell and promote very well.

Thats a damn good idea. Stops the holiday mode shit teams get into when they are bucklys to make the finals and booking their trip to Bali 4 weeks early. Dig deep early in the season to set it up and play at home in the real finals or get shipped to Qatar/Saudi for 4 weeks in a compound. Make em grind out 4 weeks overseas like its a professional game youre privileged to play.
