The Eels try hard despite a shocking coach, no decent halves and an awful roster. Also they beat us.

We don't try hard despite having a decent coach, a former golden boot 6 and former Australian half as our halves, the second best hooker in the world etc. etc.

Also they beat us.

Because we have the better roster and our young blokes coming through are classier, yet we are playing as poorly as them. At least their guys have a go and are just merely outclassed. Man for man, we have them covered in most positions yet are only seeing 3 or 4 per game have a dig.

Can't agree with the OP on this though. Parra have been just as gutless at times this year and have had waaay less injuries than us.

If the Eels can win at least 2 of their last 3 games, and we win 0, then yes, we will deserve the spoon. At the moment, we don't. Sure, we may be terrible at the moment, but the spoon is given to the team that has been the most terrible for the entire season.
