If you could ask the NRL for three things ??

To me three most important issues the NRL and the clubs need to look at

1/Price of merchandising ,asking $160 for a jersey ,somthing that costs $25 to make It needs to be cheaper and more affordable For the same price I can get a home and away West Ham jersey shipped (Don't say anything CB  )

2/Memberships We need to make it easier for our fans who support Out of town and country teams

Any membership should be able to tranferable to any game/club as long as it isn't sold out

3/Live FTA football No reason why we shouldn't be able to get 3 live games Friday,Saturday and Sunday

Does the NRL ever think of the cost to our supporters , we are SUPPOSEDLY the working mans game

So work this out
Family of Four 4 Home jersey $640

Foxtel for 6 months (basic package approx 65 a month ) $400

Basic memberships for Family of four even general admission $1120

And that is assuming you live local

Some things I would like to see

if you have a child playing junior footy = reduced memberships

Better member ship packages for all

Cheaper merchandise

As i say consistantly that NRL doesn't care abouts its fan if they actually used cheaper prices ,better deals and thought about FTA packages they would get more fans who could spend more money and create more profits without having to rely on everything else like gambling and other unhealthy pursuits

you cannot compare price of EPL shirts to NRL, look at the customer base the turn over. Every 2 weeks West Ham not the biggest EPL ground gets 30k+ at home. It also has a world wide marketing strategy as the sport is a truly world wide game and so came afford to keep the prices " relatively" low. They still complain about the prices of shirts there too by the way.

Football now is a luxury you can only support it as much as you can afford. You don't have to buy a new shirt each year, i am fed up hearing it costs little jimmy so much to get his new kit. My kids have a new shirt when they grow out of the old one. I have 4 kids BTW. Yes food cost a lot at games, take your own. Don't be forced to do what they want you to do.

If you can't afford Foxtel don't get it, watch free to air. Yes it's shit but again that's not the NRLs or the Cluns fault. It's ch9\. They could have agreed to more live and have HD but they know us mugs will have to cop it.

The money comes from TV and while it does they will always call the shots. Its the same with the EPL it's the same here. While that is the case the NRL, ch9 and fox don't give a crap about the crowds. They want you at home watching the adds and betting.

I choose to buy memberships and watch Foxtel as I want to see as a many games as I can but that's my choice.

1\. exhibition matches at Lidcombe Oval - kids on the bike track
2\. a mid week comp
3\. touch footy league over summer
sorry one more
4\. give 7 the rights to the footy.

And for $150 million less we could of got 3 live games FTA if we chose 7

I already have Foxtel , only because the clubs and the NRL do not give a toss unless you live within 200 kms of an NRL club and can't be bothered coming up with memberships that suit long distance fans

if players like Josh Dugan and terminated by their clubs due to breach of club codes, which would be in line with the NRL code of conduct then the RL so deregister them for at least one year so other clubs can not benefit from trouble makers.

Dugan and is continual disregard for club code of conduct is a blight on our game which we do not need from our stars.

My solution - Dugan is deregistered for one year and has to attend a proper rehab program to battle their demons before being allowed back to our great game. Once rehabilitation and the year ban is over the player then goes back to the sacked club and they have first preference. If they do not want him back other clubs can sign him but have to compensation the club that sack him.

Compensation to cover the costs of developing the player through their ranks.

1\. Change the rules somehow to discourage teams just hoisting up a bomb at the end of every set of 6, it is garbage and adds nothing to the game IMO.
2\. If a player signs a contract for x amount of years and then decides to switch clubs before his contract has been fulfilled- NRL should force that player to sit out of the NRL until those x amount of years is over (i'm sick of blokes signing long-term contracts and then just pulling the pin after 1 year to head to greener pastures).
3\. When individuals are found to be cheating, by no means should they be allowed to play Origin or represent their country in the future. Cameron Smith must be laughing in amazement over how he is allowed to captain his state and country :imp:

Agree with all…
@ Rebel Sport & FOOT LOCKER an NBA team jersey is $99.95
... No reason we should be paying MORE for an NRL one.

I think that price is fair, with junior sizes being cheaper.
Ridiculous.

Delayed games do my head in, surely on a Sunday they can screen a live 3PM game.
Understand it's so they can squeeze more ads in but really, we have to put up with this?

I honestly wish all games were televised live on both NBN and foxtel.
Some people don't have acess to free to air, only foxtel and vice versa - shouldn't have to miss out on games.

I'm pretty impressed with how even the comp is turning out, in recent times I've felt some teams were weak and not competitors at all - but this year I'm feeling there is talent all over the ladder.

I'd like to see more legit rivalry though - trash talk, hard hits ... genuine BEEF.
Teams should hate each other, it'd make it more enjoyable.

Then at origin time, they put aside their differences to take on a new enemy...
Another state.

Spot on. It is a big problem and everyone I have spoken to about this have agreed.
Tries resulting from a boring bomb or cross field kick within 20m of the try line should not be fully rewarded. Why don't they make these types of tries worth 4 and the rest worth 5\. You might see a little more variation when getting closer to the try line.

1\. Expansion - time to bring back Perth + another Brisbane team.
2\. TV - no more delayed games.
3\. Stadium - a nice shiny new state of the art stadium in SW Sydney for the Tigers to play out of.

1\. Cut 4 Sydney Teams and expand into Perth, Brisbane2, Cairns [combinds PNG/Pacific Island Team] & Central Coast.

2\. Pay for each club to play 2 games outside of traditional regions each year. 1 in Country Australia and 1 in Asia [Indonesia/Thailand]

3\. If Option 1 isnt suitable, relocate the Tigers to Brisbane and call them the East Coast Tigers __

Which 4 teams go? West Australian Tigers?…...

I'd like to see an end to next years signings and contracts occuring during the current season ( the recent widdop and soward signings). ALL that stuff should be sorted out during the off season, it's long enough.

And get those bloody trainers off he field unless there's a stoppage.

- remove ray hadley from anything to do with league
- get some actual games out to actual country regions
- & a straight copy from Happy - Memberships We need to make it easier for our fans who support Out of town and country teams
Any membership should be able to tranferable to any game/club as long as it isn't sold out
(&/or get rid of manly)

After watching tonights game

1/better referees

2/better referees

3/ better referees

Arguably the best game of the season stuffed by pathetic refereeing

Lets try something different , bring a card system like football

the NRL should cop alot the blame for the poor FTA coverage, they should have/need to negotiate a better FTA deal to look after its fans and not let channel 9 call the shots. They want the rugby league more than the NRL needs them.

But dont give the coverage to channel 7, they are woeful with the AFL compared to what channel 9 were.
When channel 9 had AFL from 11am to 6pm on a sunday was all AFL….. footy show plus 2 games. All 9 give league is 1 delayed game... whats with that?

And why cant 9 broadcast in HD? picture quality is terrible compared to Fox.

1 Ban Steve Matai for a long time! This guy is a grub and brings the game into disrepute.
2 Ban Jeremy Smith. this guy does nasty, malicious, dirty things during games.
3 Ban Adam Blair. A toned down version of Jeremy Smith except he plays for us.

1\. Tell Blair to give the 500k a year back for breach of contract.
2\. Ask Nick Politis to stop spending money.
3\. Tell ASADA to smoke some weed and chill
