I'm sorry but it doesn't work that way.

You don't need to drop your membership for the Tigers to know it's important to win football games and generally be competitive. Imagine ringing Tigers up tomorrow and telling them you quit, and they say, what, "oh we didn't realise winning was important, thanks for making us see the light".

Even if they lost 50% of memberships for next year, it would be obvious it's almost entirely based on results, and they already know results are bad. Madge isn't going to get better or worse results from his side because some members aren't renewing 2022. They may not even find out or collate why you quit your membership.

The basic ticket sales / TV revenues / sponsorship / merch sales probably outstrip anything they are getting through memberships (I do not know for a fact), and a significant number of members will be rusted on - hence why they can keep posting pretty consistent membership #s every year.

I haven’t had a membership since 2015 but I receive members emails ?
With discounts on merchandise etc

They are desperate

5th highest 2020 memberships in the entire comp. Hardly desperate, but I think they are always willing to do deals to keep people on board.

Much like the players, the Board members are more interested in milking that number and getting as much revenue as possible before they leave. Their short term planning will probably affect the organisation in 5-10 years and not now. I truly wonder who they're accountable to? Lee H?

Could this lack of attention to what some would call minor details be reflected in other areas like team attitude and morale?

Could this utimately be leading to poor on field performance?

I honestly don't know, but something is obviously wrong and it has been for a very long time.
