I'm a Potter fan, but....

I'm a huge fan of Potter, but for Christ sake blind Freddie could see the mistakes he's making.
1\. Lawrence left side Simona right. Lets put our most dangerous centre on the side that receives zero ball. As sad as it is Lawrence has lost it.
2\. Anasta, Anasta, Anasta. How poorly does this bloke have to play before he gets dropped? He offers nothing.
3\. Austin. How well does this bloke have to play before he gets a starting gig? Looks our most likely player in attack after Brooks.
4\. Keithy- same story as Lawrence. It's just sad.

I'm a huge Potter fan, but surely he has to see the problems we do.

Whats with this swapping Austin from hooker to 5/8th. Give him a position for all games, not a maybe position sometimes and more than one position in one game. No wonder he looks to be trying his hand too much at times. It seems it doesn't matter what he does, he is getting reemed at selection time.

I've never seen him more animated. Reckon he might give the players a spray

1 & 2 points are spot on. I disagree on the other 2.

Austin has to me too many mistakes in him. He doesn't look solid. Moses does and he should be out there a.s.a.p.

So he should.

This game was very winnable. Souths didnt come close to beating us. We beat ourselves.

he needs to do more than just give them a spray tonight…........drop a couple

His team selections over the origin period have been dismal… Rule one. If Farah or tedesco are not playing we need mosses. We cannot leave all our attack on the shoulders of a 18 year old... What's the point of having our Reserve grade and under 20s killing it when our first grade team are not firing. This is not going to get u more membership numbers.

I'm a Potter fan too, but the selections for this game always had me worried. The bench was too small, and we had two players (Halatau and Sirro) both picked on rep not form.

Tonight we needed the big fellas who have plenty of rip, tear and bust and are already into the groove, not players that are still getting into it.

Anasta… please. What a waste of space, once again he kicks into the opposition and they eventually score from it. Too old, too slow, too inept.

He made almost as many stupid mistakes as Lawrence did tonight.
Plays for himself too much at present - Potter needs to tell him he doesn't need to score himself every play.
In saying that he can be a very dangerous runner if he could only not try to do something special EVERY time.

For a half he has little idea what soft hands are

His passes are like tracer bullets and aren't hitting the mark a lot of the time

If Potter was more animated and thought a little more about his selections Wests Tigers would be a genuine top eight team. He really stuffed up tonight.

Yep bad bad calls by Potter tonight. Only got himself to blame if that ends up costing us. Why on earth would you move away from the successful strategy of the first game against Souths?

Exactly. Hate losing to souths as they're so one dimensional & predictable. We had our chances to overrun them but silly mistakes, missed tackles & penalties gave it away.

Without Woods ,Farah and Gavet we had little choice

But when he saw Tuqiri was named he should of wet himself with laughter

Potter has done well to be 7-6, but if I'm honest his selections are a sackable offense. Who cares if this team is talented if he picks useless hacks week in and week out? It's one thing to be a good coach, it's another to select the right players.

It is hard to fathom that we persevere with Anasta because no-one else is good enough to play a full game at 5/8.
Austin proved tonight he is a go to impact bench player and not the answer.
I know Moltzen trained there in the off season but you would think someone with some speed would be available to take his place and take the pressure off Brooks- it ain't Braith.

I haven't seen much of Moses but every time I see him he looks solid. Great passing game & a great kicking game. I don't get why he isn't playing first grade. Brooks is carrying us out there and he needs some support.
