Imagine no Tuquiri or Blair

No one was complaining about Lote in 2010, and no one could have predicted his injury run last year. Unfortunately he does look past it out there this season. Blair, well he's not setting the world on fire, but we know he is capable of better. I'm confident he will improve the longer the season goes.

If Blair's surname was Moors, do you think he would still be picked 2weeks from now?

Blair is a 10 times better player than Moors!

I watched Moors very closely the other night just in case I was missing something about him. How anyone can put him into first grade in front of young Groat is beyond me.

Moors is a very ordinary player. Small, does not hit hard in defence or attack. Has no offload either.

So why would you have him in first grade in front of a young player, who can tackle, runs hard and straight, offload, give quick play the balls that allows for second phase play and has it all in front of him?

That was Moors worst game (and he didnt even do anything wrong) hes had this season. In the 3 other ones hes made consistantly good metres

You surely cannot be serious. The offload is one of Moors strongest attributes.

I can see how people don't think he is up to the NRL. There are points either way but to make statements like the one paraphrased above is laughable

My biggest criticism of Junior is that he always looks like he is going at about 50% pace and effort even when he has been playing a stormer of a game. He has the odd style of making metres manipulating through the line whilst held as a prop and it is hard to gauge it in terms of value. At full strngth neither Moors or Groat really make the cut for the 17 IMO

IMO he can't play with that ridiculous strapping on his wrist. If he needs that much padding he can't play. It affects his game significantly and cost us a gf appearance.

x 2… it has hampered his game big time.. half the drop balls are because the ball bounces off the bloody thing...

Not many were complaining when we signed Blair, no one would have thought he'd be struggling the way he is.

maybe you should have been willing to listen to different opinions on his signing.
too many people turned a blind eye to his lack of production at club level.
being v/c of n/z meant stuff all to me.
you are buying a club footballer over 26 rounds.
when you look at his production you get 5 good games a year.
not great value.
then to top it off you buy a player whose style is exactly the opposite of what you need.

willing to listen? huh? I just don't recall seeing posts from people not wanting him here.
