Wests Tigers have a few injury concerns coming out of today's loss to St George-Illawarra Dragons at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The following players will have scans tomorrow to determine the extent of their injuries.

Robbie Farah, groin
Braith Anasta, groin
Jack Buchanan, facial fracture
Chris Lawrence, ankle
Aaron Woods, knee

weststigers.com.au will provide the news of the results once known.

might as well forfeit if all of them are out…didn't mind today's performance THAT much. lawrence out, thats an 8point turnaround without any kicks, similar thing with utai round 1\. But, we need to be able to capatlise on good field position. and that should be done with SHORT GRUBBERS from farah (and benji). not stupid bombs that no one in our team can catch besides maybe tedesco.

If we can string together a good side vs broncos (with farah, anasta, buchanan and woods all in it) i reckon we can cause an upset.

The way Anasta crawled off the ground, I'd be stunned if he's available within 3 weeks. Groins are a bugger of an injury that take time

Hmm, hopefully Farah and Woods are nothing serious. Buchanan looked to be in a bit of trouble, as did Anasta. Lawrence, well we can live without him and I'd like to see Simona given a run.

What was the dragon injury toll? From the commentary and injury toll sounds like SCG Is not fit for Nrl. It's an afl oval/cricket pitch. Probably a good reason why we don't use it anymore FFS.

Depending on the extent of the injuries (which I think may even be more than listed) I think we need to buy at least two players, one prop and one half. If Campese is given the nod over Williams at the Raiders it may be time to pounce. I think we should go hard after an established forward who may not wish to stay at his current club, hint 125kg! Not sure we can rely on our young players getting us through this, but I will not be unhappy if they are given a chance and we do not buy anyone.

Good chance to blood some young guys.

Any NRL experience is valuable and let's face it we are not going to be a major threat this season with our injury toll.

Groat made his way back through RMC this weekend

Look how the young forwards have responded so far , no reason the outside backs can't do the same thing when blooded Simona has a few games of experience ,so he knows what to expect Koroibete might be back for the Brisbane game

Lets just go for it , whats the worse thing that can happen , we find out that some of the NSW Cup blokes aren't up to it and we move them on

Change is exciting

Is that what you were saying about sheens when he made the halves a merrygoround?

But I do agree with you, lawry needs to go and someone needs to come up. Potter will make the right call there, i'm sure of it. 😛ray:

Unfortunately with so much reshuffling already I just can't see Lawrence getting any pressure for his spot. At least not until koro is back and the fullback position is decided.

This is where I stand right now too. It appears the season isn't heading anywhere fast. I know I hate giving up on a season this early but the early signs have been horrendous!

Honest to God! We may as well just forfeit the rest of the season right now. What the hell has this club done to deserve such rotten luck for the past 5 years? :brick:

Three years

every time i see you post that all I think of is that is how long we are going to be playing Lawrence 300K to gift oppositions 8 points a game… Who gives a bloke with a shocking injury a contract that long anyway. Idiots.

The latest word is that Farah, Woods and Lawrence will ALL be ruled out of the City side later today.

I hope they are all fine for the week after. Give Rowdy the game though, hopefully he gets some confidence and some good form in defense.
