Has a rep at the Bayview (in Gladesville) for being a complete nonce.

I work at one of the pubs the boys come to 3-4 times a week. They are nothing but respectful to staff and patrons. People think they are 'nonces' because they are loud and like to enjoy themselves, they have no interaction with them whatsoever.

The boys go to a pub 3-4 times a week??? What?? Maybe that explains how we're going!

Haha mainly its just for a punt and a feed during the season, over the offseason is a different story.

At first I thought it said bawl, then I relasied it was brawl and just laughed inside. As if….

As long as Brooks is cleared I don't particularly care. Pascoe is confident and NSWPF have cleared Brooks so that's a good thing.

The integrity unit is investigating one of the good guys of the NRL who was standing up for his brother? Gimme a break, send the sniffer dogs around to Gallen's house or some of the other a-holes who deserve it!

According to WordWeb
Noun: nonce nón(t)s

1\. The present occasion
"for the nonce";
- time being

2\. (cryptography) a number used once to sign an encrypted communication, e.g. a newly generated random number used to ensure that old communications cannot be reused in replay attacks

3\. [Brit] (informal) a paedophile

4\. [Brit] (informal) a stupid or worthless person

It looks like we're all correct

As for Channel 9, they led Sunday night news with this nothing story….I guess they think bad news increases ratings?

The use of "pedo" and now this accusation about Gallen? … I can only assume the moderators are sleeping.

Well…. Pedo wasn't used, nonce was... And Id guess krayola used that in the context it meaning "tool"... Not pedo

Reporting this type of nothing incident devalues a product they paid through the nose for.

Eventually the casual fan will switch off. I'm more than a casual fan and without supercoach I don't think I'd be interested in anything other than tigers games.

SMH headlines Brooks questioned of incident.
Telecrap headlines Brooks arrested ove brawl.
There in lies the answer to crap journalists.

My son came running into the room on Sunday afternoon, saying he saw on the news that Brooks had been arrested for taking drugs. Seems that he got his story a bit mixed up. I had to go searching for the truth.

Of course, for the average person who doesn't follow the sport, all these over-the-top headlines add up and the mud sticks, even when someone is completely innocent.
