the board of directors would know exactly what he is doing with the finances of the club , they oversee everything , its their job , so if we are not traveling well they get the blame to , i think the club is poorly run altogether

Overall..the story seems to be…Humpty is not up to it. All you people pushing for " Wests Tigers " should want an independant CEO..eg Bruno. Someone strong who can unite the two sides.

Of course obviously I am a B&W and all I want is a fairer share of the JV, like all of it.

As to the Sunday crowd, it was a stupid decision to listen to a few monkeys to take the game to Campbelltown. The longer Humpty tries to work through the division and appease all parties, the closer he is to being punted as he will never win in his tenure.

The biggest problem at present is our poor financial position... If he wants to keep his job, he better start ignoring divisive factions and go where the money is!

I like most was surprised by the crowd figures there. I seen much bigger crowds there in terrible weather conditions. I got there early thinking the crowd would be massive. I was also surprised by the number of Panther fans who made the trip. On the back of their round 1 win I thought they would arrive in big numbers. A Panthers v Tigers game at Penrith would see twice as many Tiger fans get there.

If we played against the Roosters, Bulldogs or Souths we would have had about 18000, to 20000 people there EASY. We would've also had slightly better chance of winning the game than if we had played them at the SFS. (South's haven't played at CSS for 13 years… imagine their youngsters copping the almighty ctown BOO for the first time in their careers...)

Instead we keep getting lousy money from ctown because of the lousy games we always seem to be given. Even though we win there just as much have anywhere else.

This is something that never seems to get much if any attention. We've won something like 10 of our last 13 there or something like that, but people are too busy whinging about the crowds to notice it

Keep his job? Who do you think is the architect behind this "poor financial position" you speak of? The guy is a muppet, and needs to give himself an uppercut.

So how do they manage this going forward is what needs to be worked out. Playing two Western Sydney based teams probably seemed logical at the time, but in the end it did not work out for whatever reason.

If the expense side of things was an issue, then it really would not matter who was playing, if you can't afford to go, then you can't afford to go. The club maybe needs to look at how they can get more people through the gates with better family packages.

The SFS is where the club would HOPE to get the 20k plus crowds and both LO and CS mid teens would expected imo. If they can mix the potential top 8 sort of sides and at least play one or two of those at both LO and CS then that would be nice and maybe people can put some money aside and plan for those occasions.

I'll call BS on this…

I actually believe the theory about the inner west fans dont travel; I also believe finances are tough at present; I believe the fact because we played so crap the previous Monday, on the back of the Foundation Cup is a factor; and I also believe the Wests Tigers are not doing enough to create an atmosphere leading into games down Campbelltown way as contributing factors as to why the crowd was so poor.

But to say it was because of the team we played... I very much doubt it!

esp against Penrith for the fifth time in 6 seasons?? If wasn't against a rubbish team thats has been pretty rubbish for about a decade, against a team you've seen that many times at Ctown already that it feels like groundhog day when you go, and when you know that the CEO and Administration of your club are just using Ctown enough to cover there arses and take all the juniors… you'd think twice after a while. Esp when you're watching Braith Anasta getting paid $4000 a week to suck in his gut for 80 mins (or less) a weekend before driving back to Coogee and his WAG Wife.

HUMPTY YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY YOU GOT 9000 IN THERE. If I invited you over to my house to eat boiled cabbage 4 times a year I wouldn't show you the bill if you didn't like the taste.

People keep complaining about which teams we play at each home ground. We all know Allianz dictate which clubs we play at the ground. They are always blockbusters they know will attract the bigger crowds. This year its the Dragons, Rabbitohs, Sharks and Roosters. Fair enough I say.

At Campbelltown this season we have Panthers, Broncos, Raiders and Manly. Better than previous seasons and it makes sense to play the Raiders there as its easier for Raiders supporters to travel.

Leichhardt has Eels, Cowboys, Storm and Warriors.

Ok people Im a 2nd year ticketed member of the club. This year only 8 games (4 at Campbelltown and 4 at Allianz). Would not commit to Leichhardt thanks to the scheduling of 3 Friday night games and me starting work at 4am Saturday.

My opinion on why there was such a small crowd is due to a number of reasons.

*The Magpies side of the JV being disgruntled with the running of the club. I actually think alot of ex Magpies supporters did not show up.

The treatment of club favourites. Bryce Gibbs, Chris Heighington and Beau Ryan.

*The success of the Wanderers.

*Those complaing about the price of $120 is BS. I attended the game with my wife and 3 kids and it did not cost me $120 includung food and drinks.

I remember we played the Cowboys at Campbelltown last season and we had a poor crowd. I dont want people want? We had Marshall, Farah, Woods and Galloway up against Bowen, Thurston, Scott and Tamou. If you could, why wouldnt you want to watch that live?

We are 2 foundation clubs, with proud histories. We should have 20,000 members. FFS last years wooden spooners have more members than us…

While i agree with the rest of your post i had to address this part. You call 13 and a half thousand a poor crowd? its a pass mark, particularly against a team who attracts zero support in Sydney. Do people actually believe that when we attract 20 thousand, those 20 thousand are all Wests fans? Opposition fans do their bit at bumping up the numbers too, which was kind of hard that day considering the Cows had no support
