Interviews

It seems pretty obvious that interviews for the Coaching position have not been completed , thats if they have even started. Remember Humphreys put himself in charge of a sub committee to undertake this process.

So, another week, or more before the Great announcement.

Of course this means no informaton regarding any signings /departures , other than the ones that are confirmed.

Its means a lot more waffle on this site. We are all impatient and frustrated… but thats footy at this club.

That is a little harsh when you realize that at least one of the candidates is still involved with a team still playing and Tim was only removed on tuesday. It is very important that they get the right coach so i am happy they are not rushing a decision.i would hope it is decided in 2 more weeks

Off season training doesn't start for 6 weeks …it's been a good time for this to happen .Would imagine an announcment with in a couple of weeks ,the the coach gets his act together then hits the go button in 6 weeks ..relax these things take time!

Pardon me…of course..I forgot ..The Test...Robbie and Benji..they are in charge..NOT the CEO...on the side , pitty the new coach to face their egos and the weak kneed management.

Choosing the right applicant for any job always takes time, why should it be any different with an NRL coach? With the season over, it's not imperative we get someone next week.

With the current 1st graders making it clear that they want to play alongside their best mates I wonder if the new coach will accomodate them by becomimg another one of their best mates?

With all players going on a break (apart from test) it is best to sign a coach as soon as possible. This theory of we have plenty of time to get it right is complete rubbish. How long do we want. The sooner we get a coach the better. Whatever players are out there, a newly appointed coach has time to filter through and sign someone, current coaches don't have 6 month breaks. We need someone as soon as possible, do it now.

I thought about applying for the position as coach, then i thought i really wanted Humphries job, i would bring in my own staff & after Wattos comment he would have to be my assistant.

Its not like there would be hundreds of applicants - surely only two or three people to interview.

There is quite a few. No interviews have been conducted.

Only in your opinion, I'll stick with what I believe thanks.

Pre season training starts in a month….cant have a bloke walking into the job a week before hand unprepared for a full season ahead....the sooner the better, this week.
