Iosefa target for Farah back-up

mail is , Farah gets picks a signing will be announced tuesday.

So the club Knee jerks signings now..well if thats the case a cleanout should get underway and not the players.

I hope this isn't true. Robbie could be out for possibly what, THREE games? Why not just use Politini or Miller, give them some FG experience and save money? So stupid.

Robbie will probably only be out for one, because Sticky will want to use golden boy Buderus for games two and three

What an absolute mess this club has become, we must be the most unsettled team in the comp, and it reflects in our efforts on the field, we have won 4 games this year, 3 against clubs below us, and 3 wins by one point, hardly a season to get carried away with after such high expectations, god knows what the top clubs will to do us. By the time we settle on our 'spine' and its back ups, we will be preparing for the end of season trip in early september …....

Wow, no great surprise to see all doom and gloom on here. Its not an absolute mess or a knee jerk signing. its about manging your team when you know you'll be missing a key player.
Hands up if you think we did well without Farah when he was suspended earlier this season?
Anyone with their hand up should have a look at those games. Liam Fulton is so awesome at 2nd row and in such good form, why on earth would you chuck him there? Why put Humble in there, he isn't a 9, why put Miller in there? He isn't a 9 either. So why not get a guy who has played that position at NRL level and sign him up on the 2ND TIER cap? Less distruption. You don't want to shift everyone around weakening some positions to strengthen others, it doesn't work.

We did win 30-0 without Farah for 70 odd minutes

So is this a done deal, does anyone know for sure, i watched him play 1/2 back for mounties the other week he went well. I think he would be a good signing then when farah comes back he can play 1/2.

We also linked to Terence Seu Seu who is playing in local Newcastle comp and has played NRL with Knights, Sharks and Manly.

Not sure this is a good move by Iosefa himself. He will playing state cup whenever Farah is available. It is not as if he is ever going to be be able to squeeze himself onto the bench.

Then again, when you are wasting away in Jim Beam Cup any game time in NRL is valuable. He often looked effective as an impact player for the Panthers - I am led to believe he has had some discipline issues which have cost him.

so after 2 pages i still havent found anyone who has seen politini play…

from what i gethered, he was pretty good?? good enough to fill in for 3 games??

i mean, we used sean meany there.. why not just go down that alley if politini is that bad (which i dont think he is)

For god sake, surely our under 20s hooker is good enough. Doesn't send a good sign or message to those in the position in the lower grades. The youth is the future not journey men. I hate the broncos with a passion, but they got it right backing youth, blooding the kids.

I saw him play in the trial against Parramatta. He played a very similar game to Robbie. Sheens only gave him 15 odd minutes for some reason, but when he went off and Fulton took over dummy half we looked a lot slower.

I was surprised he only received limited game time but am at a loss to explain why.

I think we're right in assuming Politoni isn't in the Tim Sheens boys club. Membership is vital if you want to play first grade.
