Is Braith really going to be captain??

I don't know where points will come from in the next couple of weeks if Anasta is captain.

1\. Rowe
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks
9\. Luani

Probably the worst spine in the NRL. Passengers at fullback and five eighth, an inconsistent halfback and a hooker which we have no idea about. Only two genuine threats in Simona and Nofoaluma, and both are parked on the right edge.

Went through all the posts and its a consistent thread for a 4 way gig

-Woods
-Fluton
-Braith
-Blair

Some want one while others hate the other..

There are a few things to consider,
1) Ideally captain will need to spend bulk of the time on the park otherwise we need a VC so the refs can gruel him for penalties

2) Experience is another factor. Hayne is a whinging captain - we dont want that.

3)How the person carries himself, both on and off field. Isnt Fulton a full time comedian ??

One way gig if it is a one man task. Braith, is a former Club captain and a solid statesman.

Co Captain candidate would be Keith G, This will give hime the respect deserved and enourage him to take bake some of the limelight that Woods has been taking of late

I really am stunned that most people would opt for Anasta. On two counts I don't think he is in our best 17, and i think their are more inspirational candidates. Especially over a guy like Fulton, who has spilt blood and guts for the club over a number of years.

Braiths stats against Manly - 8 tackles, 1 run, 9 metres, 2 errors.

Is this the sort of experience that we need? These are the sort of stats he puts on the board regularly over the past 2-3 years. Im sorry i like a captain to lead with the front with their actions. Ask Roosters fans about his captaincy. He didn't lead that at all well for 5 years, had a 3 month good patch in 2010.

Its like the Lucas Neill argument. Bloke has been playing like a hack for 3-4 years but he keeps getting picked due to his experience. I don't buy into it. All i care about are performances whether your 17 or 34.

I just think he gets a lot of credit for not doing much on the field. We did not miss him at all last night. Austin gave us 3 genuine points of attack. Does anyone agree with me?!

Since when is the performance of a half analysed according to the number of hitups and tackles he made? Lol. No idea. He's not a prop!!

Halves are measured by total kicks, kick metres, line break assist, try assists etc. And just how well they contribute to organising the team and taking the right options.

Still Braith shouldn't be captain, Liam should be. Either fults or KG. Players who've been at the club for a while.

Im still stunned on peoples views on Anasta

And im still stunned!!

Today - 1 run, 09 tackles, 2 errors

Austin was way more dangerous from the totally unfamiliar position of dummy half!!

Lets get our heads out of the sand here. Austin is a far superior option to Anasta. We got very lucky today because of 2 intercepts, Sandown kicking 1 from 4 and our forwards just being flat out immense.

Braith was awful/non existent as i feared!

Please provide a run down on these stats from Braith today. Organising the team and taking the right option = 0
