Is Cameron Ciraldo under pressure?

Ciraldo builds his teams on a certain defensive structure. Seems that the new rules have sped up the game and it’s harder to get teams into the grind and simply out defend your opponents.
Games have shown that you need to be able to score points and they were never a great attacking side last year regardless of the Sexton and Galvin thing (probably better without Galvin).
They have been caught out a bit I think and need to change what they’re doing but that is difficult mid season.

Ciraldos post match conference is always an eye opener. That side is literally in that mess because he's too stubborn to change the side. The small mobile forwards arnt working. They get rolled over in defence. Need big boppers that have slimmed down but still get the metres.

So refreshing that the side we think will be picked is the one we wanted anyway. Sione and Royce on the bench rotating with the other forwards. If we can get 2 wins out of next 3 games coming into the bye then API is back to take on the dogs fresh as. Can't wait.

They don't have the cattle to change. No speed in the backline. They don't even have a halfback apart from that young one in ressies that isn't ready. That defensive structure was good last year but by the last rounds you could see they were done. Small mobile forwards ripping in every week takes a toll. Never were a threat in the finals..

Their cap cannot be looking good. Too many young blokes and fringe players in that team. Also, not sure how Burton escapes criticism in the 6. Very rare that he breaks a game open.

Ciro blamed the refs....looked to me like dogs got their fair share of decisions and were getting away with slowing the ruck all through the game . He comes off as a bit of an arrogant prk.
They got so many re- starts , yet they were of there line so quick , yet the the cows didn’t get many re-starts .
The longer he keeps Galvin at 1/2 back the worse they will get , he just refuses to make that change , could be his downfall

Certain people in the media made jokes regarding bulldogs beating penrith being related to match fixing, maybe there was something to it because they are just plain horrible.
That result was suspect 100% Penrith were looking unbeatable and the dogs who couldn't score at a brothel beat them? No freakin way!

If Gus let Ciraldo coach the team the way he knows how,
the bulldogs would be in a better postion than
what they are at the moment.
Ciraldo is Gus's puppet and until that changes they will be going
nowhere.

Gus is a hatched man. Absolutely ruthless. So yeah, very well could be. He’s done Ciraldo dirty though, ripping apart the squad like has. No sympathy for Ciraldo though. He seems like a giant knob.
One of my sons played a couple of seasons with Ciraldo step son. He was actually a really good fella. Didn’t mind having a chat about different players in the Nrl. Definitely a bloke I would happily have a beer with. Not sure if it’s pressure or keeping up a persona but he does come across arrogant in his press conferences.
