In the media? It was us right here.Certain people in the media made jokes regarding bulldogs beating penrith being related to match fixing, maybe there was something to it because they are just plain horrible.
They don't have the cattle to change. No speed in the backline. They don't even have a halfback apart from that young one in ressies that isn't ready. That defensive structure was good last year but by the last rounds you could see they were done. Small mobile forwards ripping in every week takes a toll. Never were a threat in the finals..Ciraldo builds his teams on a certain defensive structure. Seems that the new rules have sped up the game and it’s harder to get teams into the grind and simply out defend your opponents.
Games have shown that you need to be able to score points and they were never a great attacking side last year regardless of the Sexton and Galvin thing (probably better without Galvin).
They have been caught out a bit I think and need to change what they’re doing but that is difficult mid season.
It looks like the rumours are true half the squad don't like Galvin and won't play for himSomething was not right that game , I 100% agree with that
If they keep that shit up then I'm very happy. The slide happened when they signed Galvin and shafted Sexton, then Mahoney.
I think this created a bad vibe amongst the players because they looked shit after that.
Not a happy place right now.
I know I'll cop it for this, but I miss the old drunken Buzzard.Galvins dad seen handing Galvin what looked like quite a hefty dossier on the sidelines after the game. Too bad buzz will not be in the sheds for the dummy spit.
They got so many re- starts , yet they were of there line so quick , yet the the cows didn’t get many re-starts .Ciro blamed the refs....looked to me like dogs got their fair share of decisions and were getting away with slowing the ruck all through the game . He comes off as a bit of an arrogant prk.
That result was suspect 100% Penrith were looking unbeatable and the dogs who couldn't score at a brothel beat them? No freakin way!Certain people in the media made jokes regarding bulldogs beating penrith being related to match fixing, maybe there was something to it because they are just plain horrible.
One of my sons played a couple of seasons with Ciraldo step son. He was actually a really good fella. Didn’t mind having a chat about different players in the Nrl. Definitely a bloke I would happily have a beer with. Not sure if it’s pressure or keeping up a persona but he does come across arrogant in his press conferences.Gus is a hatched man. Absolutely ruthless. So yeah, very well could be. He’s done Ciraldo dirty though, ripping apart the squad like has. No sympathy for Ciraldo though. He seems like a giant knob.
Likewise Neurosurgeon Ciraldo operated on the Dogs spine, removed two crucial discs and fused the spine with titanium bolts & screws only to find it is clearly misaligned & causing grief .
Is it a case of NRL malpractice??
