Is Cameron Ciraldo under pressure?

Think Ciraldo had everyone telling him how good he was last year. Then he saw an issue with the way they were playing, even though they were winning, and reading his own press tried to get too clever. Totally underestimated the cost to individuals and team harmony.

Dogs caught Penrith on an off day. Cleary threw 5+ passes that hit the ground or missed their mark by miles, their line speed was poor and they made many uncharacteristic errors. Other than that, the dogs have been awful, and they are awful to watch. Most boring team in the league. Even last year when they were doing well I couldn't stand watching them.

Ciraldo seems really smug and dour given he's got zero titles as a head coach or a player. Typical Phil Gould situation now in that Gould's trying to get one over Penrith for sacking him in order to bring Ivan back. Gus is obviously brilliant, but he can't help himself. He can't let go of the head coach part of his soul enough to do the GM role properly -- Ciraldo is the next gullible victim.

Every coach is as good as the cattle he has at his disposal and I think Gus goes to the cattle sales and tells CC you coach them.
Probably and let's not forget the resources that he gained his reputation from are vastly different to what he has at the Dogs. Maybe he is just a bog average coach with a bog average roster who thought he was better than he actually is.
