Is miller the key to our attack?

We need to play like a normal team. I.e the five eighth plays on one side of the field and the halfback on the other. But no, in our side Marshall has to play on both sides of the field.

Miller was poor last night but I honestly believe he is being cut out.

I did find it interesting that Farah absolutely gave him a mouthful with about 10 min or so left. In every set of six from them onwards, he seemed to get more involved and if I remember correctly he kicked on the 5th three or four times after that. This is what needs to happen.

Miller should be doing most of the general play kicking, especially long kicks.

No we have 2, Benji and Robbie. Anasta is not given the opportunity to use his skills but being expected to be a battering ram and a light weight one at that. Miller is not a ball playing halfback from what I have seen, and I am very concerned he will never live up to the hype so many give him!

His defence is also solid and Lawrence can worry about marking his own man rather than coming in all the time because Miller stands back.

Depends. Looks like him and farah were not seeing eye to eye last night. Farah needs to give him more room.

Game thread seems to have disappeared, but that mouthful is exactly what Miller needs

Robbie's essentially gave him the green light to play halfback after that , which was good to see.

I thought Miller was weak, offered nothing much. Whether he is not being given the ball, or he is not asking for it, he is not making much impact at all.

I've thought the same ever since he came to grade - tries hard, doesn't offer much. Does he have a try or LB assist to his name yet?

Miller just needs time, remember he's playing in a dysfunctional team at the moment. Hasn't been a happy side in a few years now, it's obvious who runs the team and it's definitely not the captain as we saw him hooked last night. to me the whole side needs a good kick up the ar#e, It's time to drop a few and promote a few. let's start with the number 1..

This is probably the best option for the team. I would also like to see Moltzen in the centres and maybe Sirro at 6.

Well he is the best option we have at present but after only a few games it is hard to tell if he is the key.

Best outcome would be sign Miller for another 2 years and continue to groom Brooks. Let their abilities sort out who is retained.
