Is our team much better than a reserve grade side?

Look at the Cows, you only need a few select hits to your roster and the whole plan falls apart.

We brought in two reserve grade quality halves, their lack of penetration puts pressure on defence and handling.

rankin and little john werent that bad both had better games than moses had over the last few weeks
i hope we both players get resigned as back ups for next season and the more gametime they get this season the better

For Rankin I agree. For JLJ, no I don't think he's ever going to properly step up. I thought from last year's few games he might have had something, but this year he has been woeful. When a makeshift fullback-cum-5/8th totally outplays you, and doesn't play very well relative to the opposition, you have trouble. No running game, no step, poor kicking, couldn't even hold the pill over the line. He just went missing and there was no reason to make Rankin do all the work.

the way we are going would push it for a win at the local A- GRADE LEVEL.
BUT HERES THE THING THEY MOST HAVE KNOWN , that brooks was in doubt so why let moses go this week, the club is run by idiots me thinks.

Agree. The inmates are running the asylum. Just one stupid decision after another.

So you'd rather have had Moses who was intentionally tanking over two reserve graders who gave 100%?

You do know exactly what would of happened if Moses was not punted ..really over the our club being blamed for a everything. You can not deal with these types of individuals which have pathways to the media and there agendas.

Really felt for Rankin tonight. Was ok and first game back at 7 had to slot in at fullback.
Didn't like Liddell s work tonight. Be good to have MM play 80.
And teddy made alot of poor choices tonight.

It looks great!
That right side looks a real threat in attack.
Also a young, inexperienced bench with size and also a point to prove.
I really like the idea of Marsters and hopefully, his defence is alright because our right side was shocking.

Yep if Moses played the fulltime score would have been 36-0\. He wouldn't have suddenly turned up and had a go this week.

MWZ has ISP stamped all over him. His defence is solid, but offers very little in attck other than hit-ups out of our own end
I had high hopes for MCK, but he keeps getting exposed defensively on the edge. Even the inexperienced Suli tackles much better
Sue will be getting a holiday & Aloiai looks like he will be spending time on the sidelines so we will be looking for a couple of middle forwards. Suggest it would be Ava & Felise/Tatola/Eisenhuth.

Think a few blokes above have been given a bum steer. Kev was actually good on the wing last night, Rankin was ok (better than JLJ), and Grant is nothing great, but puts in as shown when someone isolated Nikorima defending him and he went over the top. Think that was also the point where we had a try disallowed for a forward pass where the dummy half had to pass around the Broncos player coming back onside.

They let Moses go because he doesn't give a fig, JLJ & Rankin at least try their best.

thats the whole point, he should been dumped to NSW CUP for the rest of the season, and if need asked if he wanted to redeem himself. we let him walk got nothing in return and get stuck with rankin and littlejohn. :crazy :bash :blah

One of them needs to run the ball!

Good summary from Tiger Tim. Injuries aside, it's hard to believe we've been hard up against the cap with these players.

We haven't, we've been hard up against the cap with Moses and Farah. Don't know if Parra are covering his salary for the year, but if they aren't, there's literally a million reasons why right there. _These_ players don't make up most of our salary cap (bar Woods and Teddy). Evaluate next year when we aren't paying other teams to take our little starlets.
