GNR the thing that grinds my gears the most is no matter who we sign, we just seem to be a stop over. Theres no respect or loyalty to the jersey. Players come till something better arrives, our top players just dont seem committed to the cause, they just seem to look at the joint like its a paycheque. Iv also absolutly had a gutfull if players ruining our season. Last year Galvin, this year Luai. I know he hasnt done anything wrong but iv no doubt a few of the guys are off him. All the talk of being Batman and bringing success to the Tigers and he bails 18 months into a potential 5 year deal. I would be dirty on him bailing, he can go if he wants its the contract we gave him. Imagine though there were no clauses, we have him for 5 years on 1.2 million a year and he doesnt want to be there. Just wish he signed the deal and announced it after the season finishes. So sick of players just using our jersey as a place holder for another, meanwhile us poor fans dont get that choice.

The problem is that PNG used his signing for positive publicity and to encourage further signings … I don’t know whether he has derailed the season by leaving … it’s the depth in my view and the injuries that came before ..

I’m not too disappointed he is leaving early… I have said elsewhere I wouldn’t even mind him leaving at the end of this season…although that seems a slim chance …

Not his choosing to go thats the issue as i see it, just that in choosing to go i think a few of the guys might be off him now. Im the same, its like a lame duck coach. I wish he would leave this year. It just looks like the team were dissinterested. I agree totally in terms of players we rely on, this year we have been hammered with injury. Though 4 of the last 5 weeks just look like the guys had no fight in them even with the players we bring in, theyre not N.R.L level no doubt, but they just dont seem to have any desire. I hope im wrong or this could be a squad issue were stuck with for 18 months. In the dogs game i thought Luai was great. Just the guys around him make me think something might be up.

Ok mate … yeah I agree .. we are considered a joke and performances like last week reinforce that… even Parra fans give it to us and they haven’t won a premiership in 40 years

I was talking about the roster with the other dude … it’s no longer last like it used to be for years .. but needs a lot more work

I'm not filled with confidence after we were belted by a couple of mediocre teams.

The number of points we've conceded would suggest we're gravitating towards 15th or so on the ladder if it continues which isn't any better than what we've seen for years.

For mine, there's just so much money tied up in a few of Richo's key signings that we're forced to regularly field reserve grade quality blokes.

It's just the same old story on repeat.

Like I said, I wasn't a Pascoe fan. But I do give the guy some credit for the Cleary years where we were pretty close to a top 8 finish.

Having said that, I'm hoping to be proven wrong this year. But the end of season ladder will be the ultimate judge.

Couldn’t agree more …

Also … the fans really needs some reasons to have some hope for 2027… and short of signing another 4 NRL level players… I don’t know what else will inspire confidence

I think over the last 18 months we as a club have started heading in the right direction , media has not been as bad for us as in the past , club nrl team was going very well early in the season but injuries have really hurt us , media have noted this but it’s still not an excuse to use all the time what it does do is show where we lack , reserve grade talent , club making a profit is a positive again , PVL wanting our club in Vegas next year is a positive as if it wasn’t we would be heading there in 2028 PVL is no mug he could see improvement and wants our colours and brand out there , I suspect and feel the Americans will jump on us over there , I really do feel we will have big support from the mad American footy fan , and I hope we have plenty who can afford to head over from our supporter base to get there as well , signing over the last 18 months also positive but we still need a couple nrl quality and a freshen up in reserves like about 5 , we have players going so club will have no choice but to pull the finger out and chase players on the fringe for 2 year deals , this allows our gun young ones who we have locked in a couple seasons to be ready for the step up , don’t rush or bust them , I see cracks in Macca already , and Tavana , leave them in reserves to build up and use them at the back end of seasons if we are not in the 8 , we will be in the 8 I feel so they just have to wait .

Temp CEO , doing ok , but I feel he is just a puppet.
Recruitment- doing well
Downside - CEO still temp , give him the job or move him on .
Pathways - inject more funds .
