Is There Any Way To Change The Ads On This Forum??

I love this forum but having to open it each day and see two ads featuring Grub 1 makes me dry reach. I cannot stand the look of his head. It's killing me. I could only cop 2 mins of his talking last night on NRL On Fox before turning over. I detest him.

Actually everytime I go to the forum,I get the dating Russian chicks add….I don't mind them one bit...who cares about the other adds,just read the posts and threads... :smiley:

Ha ha. I used to get the dating ads too. A bit awkward when your wife looks over your shoulder.
You can get rid of them by clicking on the cross in the top right to tell Google you don't want those ads.

It's all powered by Google, so it's powered by your personal profile, interests and history that Google has compiled. We all get a lot of Tigers ads because they are - you guessed it - targeted at Wests Tigers fans.
I've had Roosters ads appear recently and this is no doubt due to the Roosters marketing managers leveraging off the Tedesco signing.

Is it a good thing? One can make an argument either way.
Remember when you used to walk past the corner store on the way home and the shop owner would wave hello, saying "Hey, I have one of those nice cakes that you liked last time!". We would regard this kind of merchant understanding of clients to be desirable. Google kinda just does the same thing.

Re. asian/russian porn ads, this would be combination of your search history and stuff.
However I have specifically configured the service to block these kind of sensitive ones. However since you guys are saying that you're still getting them, I've just turned the notch up on these. If you see any more, please right-click over the add, copy the link URL and send me a PM with the URL. I'll then directly block it and also report it to Google.
