IMO, it leaves Pat Richards as a mistake in relation to recruitment - I wouldn't want to see Koro or Nofo discarded to make way for Richards.

haha, nah. pat is a good purchase. Notice how we have like 50 games in the back line bar benji and reddy? We desperately need some experience which anasta provided a good deal of last night. Ordering people around and really helped our discipline and cohesion as everyone knew what to do. Also enhanced Farah's game by reducing responsibilities (58tackles).

Richards does the same but unlike Anasta in the pack and Farah with the halves Richards is extremely useful in the back 3 to help our koro and teddy.

As for nofo, I hear he can play centre and if not we can mould him because his defence is definitely good enough and he's young. That leaves simona/reddy/aysh/lawrence fighting it out for the other centre position. And we can probably afford to drop/let go two of them.

This is complete and utter BS he has played about 10 games at centre in 8 years the last one being about 2007 or 08 . He has played 90 percent of his matches at left wing and is likely to be their for the tigers .

We have 5 wingers in 2013 Koroibete, nofoaluma, Utai , tuqiri and reddy and other then reddy none of them have managed to be fit for the whole 10 games this year . A NRL team needs more then 2 wingers and we will have Richards, nofoaluma and Koroibete next year and see which ones are fit play and whoever is playing better will get the spots

Nofo and koro remind me of mead and Gordon when they came into grade at the titans,both boom wingers that are quick and strong they came in young and did a good job and still do cant see why this pair couldn't be similar.
I'd say Tiquri and Utai were gone after this season anyway regardless

Watched Richards play on the left wing for Wigan this morning, he was great in the pieces that I saw…. fast, strong defensively, kicking goals outta his clacker and was booming 70m on-the-fly goalline dropouts! Looked like he hasn't lost anything from his days with us, then again ESL has a tendency to make players look better than what they are compared to the standard of NRL.
Was sceptical about his signing at first but he looked the goods today, bring him on! Only problem is where to play him, left centre inside Koro putting the flying Fijian down the sideline sounds enticing. Can't wait to get him back.
