Is this Rumor true?

I'd be happy to see the back of Blair and Reddy but BMM should be kept.

Agreed.

I dont know if it's BMM or the team in general, but he seems to go missing for weeks on end then puts in a solid performance with barnstorming runs, then nothing again for 6 weeks.

When he's on fire, he's a damaging runner and unstoppable close to the line. I'd like to see him do this week in week out. It doesn't help that he's being chopped and changed each week. I reckon keep him on the bench, bring him on at the 30min mark and play him on the left side.

Simply working on his handling will go a long way to making him a better player. The ball always seems to want to jump out of his hands within farting distance of the stripe.

Agree on playing him on the left, especially when we stack players with pace on that edge supporting him (Simona, Nofo, Koroibete etc.) If Benji returned to his previous form he'd also provide another attacking option.

I don't get the Reddy hate,he tries his hardest,he saves our bacon regularly,he can cover fullback, wing, centre and backrow at a pinch,it is the lazy blokes around him that makes him attempt tackles he should not have to make.

there are plenty more reddy's out there.
the problem with offloading reddy is the message you're sending to the others…
work your butt off= get the hell outta here
be a lazy snob= stay in the team for more money

same happened with beau.

reddy can easily be replaced, but it's not sending a good message to others.. so much for "accountability for our actions" bs pre season

interesting, would prefer to keep BMM though, Reddy goes ok, is a good back up….....Blair though, yeah goodbye I hope

BMM isn't up to it so happy to let him go. Reddy should be rewarded for his effort but will only be for depth next year and that prob not enough for him. Blair has potential but as he proved earlier this year he should be playing in the middle and playing 60 max but for some reason potter has moved him back to the edge and 80 mins again and that doesn't suit his game. Plus he will be better if we ever had a decent set of props

Losing BMM would be a mistake.

I think the club should put him on notice first to see how he performs for the rest of the season If we don't see some consistancy from him in that time we should let him go

*Sigh*
Weyman & Kennedy….

Really?
:frowning:

You have to remember we already have a marquee front rower in Woods and a well regarded one in Galloway. Adding and old head with grand final and representive experience in Weyman along with a big up and comer in Kennedy seems a good balance. Woods and Weyman starting with Galloway and Kennedy on the bench is an awesome front row. Buchanan has the footwork and mobility to make lock his own giving us the chance pick 2 lethal edge backrower. Not sure where Fulton would fit in

Agreed King sirro
Woods,Weyman,Galloway,Kennedy,Buchanan would make an impressive front row
The only worry would be Weyman & Galloway are injury prone but thats the risk you take i suppose

Well at least Galloway would have a prop fiend in the rehab group if Weyman is purchased another injury prone prop

Agree he has potential. Fine tune him and he will be right

How ???

I can see how he can be a really good player but he just isn't cutting it at the moment.

Reddy has been great for us. Blair has absolutely killed us - he comes across as an average first grader whereas we seem to be paying him like one of the best backrowers in the game.

How? I can't answer that and unfortunately I don't think any one at the tigers can either. Our players with some potential seem to thrive at other clubs. BMM has speed and size has proven he can play but only plays well in glimpses?..It's an attitude problem.

BMM… if he were to leave us now, he seems like that kind of player to step up a level if given the right conditions. I'd persist with him.

I think it's actually a structure problem. We lack a lot of structure in attack at the moment and it's really not helping the likes of BMM who can break the line.

Think back to our style of play in 2010 and 2011 when our forward pack had a bit more grunt and Ellis was used to great effect close to the line by Marshall and Lui…put BMM into that situation and he'll score a few tries.

id hate to lose bmm

he is still young and hasnt been given a proper chance

put him in the starting line up and we'll see achange in him.

I love reading all the forum members views

I agree with the majority that Blair should be let go. One of our biggest dude buys ever.

Mixed feelings on Joel Reddy. (only 27 years old). Always reliable but not quick and does not score many tries. Would like to keep him for depth as we all know at WT we have heaps of injuries and need experience.
I would keep Reddy.

BMM - So disappointed he hs not kicked on. has so much ability and potential but we only see it occasionally. His hands let him down. In a structured team like Melbourne he would be a gun.

I would keep BMM as he could turn out like Fifita who most of us regret letting go.

Weymans and Kennedy would compliment our pack in different ways

Imagine our pack in 2014 and I want nobody under 100 kgs to pack in the scrum (Legend excluded). Love Fulton but no place unless he stacks on the kilos
\
\
Buchanan (modern day lock plays like a prop. better for the experience)
Sue (best of the new players and better for this years experience)
Thompson (love his aggression, needs more involvement)
Galloway (love the Sauce when he is fit and firing)
Legend (nothing needs to be said)
Woods (gun player and will only improve with SOO experience)

Bench

BMM (improved and focused version)
Kennedy (gun prop and young)
Weymans (hard head and experience)
Gravet (looking forward to his offerings. shame he got injured)

Fulton
Groat
Ava
Bell
Pettybourne

I think the love for kennedy on this site is way over the top based on the fact his best ever game was against us.
He is not that good, the roosters fans treat him in much the same we treat Moltzen or Fitzy.

He has a decent engine, but is not that effective.
