Is this Rumor true?

So Kennedy is going to leave a gun roosters side because he is playing off the bench yet everyone on here is picking him on their bench…

Pretty sure Kennedy is still contracted for next season anyway???

bmm is the most frustrating forward to watch.
thought he was over rated going into 2012 and during the last year he has shown glimpses and then just when you hope he will take the next step up he comes up with blah for a while.
potential is there but just can't back it up.
for our sake i really hoped he would have cemented a starting role by now.

Potter really has nothing to loose.

If wests are in the same position come this time next year he'll be back in the mines. Not being resigned in his first NRL contract would pretty much be the end of his coaching career in the NRL…Fg anyways.

He would know this and I assume he knows that Blair is useless and would be looking to cut him to fill is spot with a player that GAF and maybe have a chance of keeping his job longer then 2 seasons.

so if all three go then the tigers should chase SBW or folau ( although i do a bit of time for bmm ). aim high tigers, you dont get what you dont ask for.

If Potter was thrown out after 18 months then he was never really given a chance. He needs at least three years and I believe he is the man for the job. We gave Sheens 10 years!!

id hate to lose bmm

he is still young and hasnt been given a proper chance

**put him in the starting line up and we'll see achange in him.**

Why?

He's showing only glimpses when the steams gone out of the game a bit

Why would making it harder for him (starting) see a change?

Weyman is a Marquee Player???

Doesn't make sense… I'll take him, but he should only be offered a basic Prop's Salary. He is basically superseded at St George, and its not like he will get big dollars elsewhere.

I also find it hard to believe Blair is on the outer with the Team... All comments about Adam are always very positive and basically state we are lucky to have him and his leadership.

Agree with most comments ,

Blair has to go but the no one in their right mind will pay the dollars his on for a transfer.
Reddy feel for the guy if its true ,but he lacks pace , would keep him the money was right.
Utai is gone his contract is up.
I would also release Fulton as he reminds me of Pearce in his latter years a tackling machine tries hard but is not effective in gaining meters up the middle.
BMM would be sad to see him go as he has loads of potential would be another huge mistake like releasing Fifita.

Weyman & Kennedy….

Really?
:frowning:

You have to remember we already have a marquee front rower in Woods and a well regarded one in Galloway. Adding and old head with grand final and representive experience in Weyman along with a big up and comer in Kennedy seems a good balance. Woods and Weyman starting with Galloway and Kennedy on the bench is an awesome front row. Buchanan has the footwork and mobility to make lock his own giving us the chance pick 2 lethal edge backrower. Not sure where Fulton would fit in

Agreed King sirro
Woods,Weyman,Galloway,Kennedy,Buchanan would make an impressive front row
The only worry would be Weyman & Galloway are injury prone but thats the risk you take i suppose

Agree on both counts. Weyman is good when he is match fit as is Galloway but both spend more time in rehab. Blair could be a better fit with a bigger front row who get a good roll on. I like the idea of Kennedy as a purchase, just what we need to front row options. I think we are missing a damaging backrower and looking through our squads there really is not much there that give me much enthusiasm.
I really like the Boyd Cordner type of player. Tough, good size, good skills and work rate.
Our current backrowers offer us nothing on the fringe and that includes Fulton (who I think should play a more traditional lock role).
They dont like to hit holes on the edge and are not aggressive enough in defence.

BMM has to show some urgency and professionalism in his game if he can,t goodbye,if Blair doesn't,t pick up mid season see you as we'll time for the clean out to start.Tied of the excuses people are making time to step up or see ya later! Reddy a good reliable fill in type plenty in the lower grades.

The Late Mail just confirmed its Blair and BMM to go hope its true for Blair not so sure about BMM , where there is smoke there is fire the rumour is getting louder.

Did he nominate any teams who were willing to take them off our hands? seriously, if this is legit why not do it back when there were marquee players available? :crazy

Who says they weren't trying to offload back then?

Also consider that at a time when decent marquee players are still on the market, teams usually have trouble offloading their dud buys like Blair etc.

because he's experienced and the change (confidence placed in him) could be what he needs.

if we take a punt starting a guy like spence to start (who had no fg, let alone starting experience), it makes sense to also take a punt on an experienced fg player (bmm) to do the same. lets atleast see what he's go.

You just know BMM will come back to haunt us if we let him go !
