He one of my fav players. His work rate is awesome.
There has been a bit of banter about him wanting to come home as a swap for Papali'i.
Don't know if that has substance though.

Papa is such an important cog for us I can’t see us letting him go at all. I definitely can’t see a trade happening because trades just don’t happen.

Clubs actually can’t influence the decision for player swaps it’s all on the players/player managers. That’s why they just don’t happen. If clubs started forcing it the RLPA will jump all over it.

It’s unfortunate, but the way I see it, this contract has apparently been in place a year, WT has not made a payment and Papali’i has not trained or played for WT in all that time.

And??......... whats your point. Thats the same for any player that signs for any team a year in advance. And if its just a case of my sarcasm detector being broke - you could say how good is it that we have had a contract with IP for the last 12 months and parra have paid for everything.

That’s what I took out of that last interview, the reporter was baiting him for a reply and now he is just having fun with them. He hasn’t said anything different the whole time apart from not wanting to get involved in the discussion and doing what every player does and deflecting to the old manager line… please ppl.
