It’s a real chance that he will try to break it . It’s even more real we won’t let it happen . The hate for the eels runs deep . The matterson thing , just after the Moses thing , was the straw that broke the camels back I reckon .
Not to mention the Stefano garbage as well .
We have built the pack around him for next year . We have no continuity at all on our edges from this year .
He will be doing a Gordo at worst . And if he does his career will be on the skids .
The nrl is fickle as . Last year AD was a future immortal , this year up until this week , most on here and twitter were saying they’d rather Hastings . It moves so quickly .

Makes sense to me if we found out it was the slimeys up to no good .

Yeah maybe. I’m prepared to give the club the chance to sort this out. Pretty much because of all the recent examples of players breaking contracts, none of it happened under Sheens watch. And I think back to the pre season when Brooks to Newcastle was all the rage, Sheens came out and denied it, and that was that. For all of his faults last time he was here, I don’t recall many players wanting out of contracts under him. He’s a good man manager, and I think whatever issue there is, he will smooth it over.

Thats a ridiculous argument. Firstly we are not agitating for him stay. Secondly what arrangement Penrith and Garner came to would be up to them. If they refused to release him i would expect him to play with them or face whatever consequences Penrith place on him. Its not friggin kindergarten.

Garner debuted with us in 2018, when he goes the only two remaining from that side are Brooksy and Nofa.
