Papenhuyzen at the back which is good to see. Looks like we have a bit of depth considering the likes of JLJ, Hunt, Heleta, Mcwhathisname and Grant aren't there.

And Suli as i'm guessing he will spend more time in ISP than U20s

Plus we still have Chee-Kam, Lovett, Rankin…ISP looks like a strong squad really.

Trial cancelled..

I understand it is bloody hot down your neck of the woods but given the choice I would of preferred to play Footy with a higher temp and lower humidity than lower temp and higher humidity

I'd take a 40 degrees day with 20 % humidity over a 34 -35 degrees day with 80% + humidity

With the higher humidity its so much harder to get air in the lungs and you just can't replace the fluids you lose

Anyone know if the matches in various grades which were called off were postponed to be played today or tomorrow or were just cancelled altogether?

Wests Tigers won 16-8..

Did anyone get to the game at all?

Yeh, 1st 25 minutes saw Wenty leading 8-4, both tries scored down our left edge, sorry not sure of all the players names but pretty Pio Sokobulava scored Tiges 1st try next to posts.

2nd 25 saw several changes with the left edge defence tightened thanks to Nathan Milone. Managed to even the score to 8-8 and overall a pretty scrappy affair, lots of drop balls and the referee blowing heaps of penalties. We managed to score a 3rd try half way through the last 3rd of play.

No real standouts, good to see Paps get a run and didn't look out of place against the men, had a number of runs, look a couple of highballs and put in a really nice grubber to trap their winger in the in goal. Pecky also looked pretty good, for a smaller frame he has a big motor and is not afraid to throw himself at the attacking line.

Sorry not a very helpful commentary as I was not really familiar with all the players but overall it appeared to be a useful hitout. Did not really recognise many Wenty boys, apart from Sam Gorman. Wenty had plenty of troops, look to be around 30 or more

Ha usually it's things like "lots of dropped balls thanks to Nathan Milone" or "offered nil in attack thanks to Nathan Milone".

All out tries scored by forwards. Not encouraging regarding our weakness in depth in the backs, though still a number of players to drop back to the nsw cup
