Well we’re not going to win the comp that’s for sure but even if it’s just for pride, or even to stop being the punchline for every finals joke, it would be so nice to play a final - just one.

I get that but it'll be a token joke that we made it only to be embarrassed out in week one.

@bptiger Madden has looked ok in CC. You have to remember he's playing in a team full of useless players getting monstered by their opponents on a weekly basis. Hardly an environment for a young half to stand out. His kicking game alone is far superior to Brooks' (whose kicking game has gone backwards in recent years).

If Madden can come into first grade and put in last tackle options, find touch with kicks, and kick goals at 75-80% that'll do for me.

Isn't 1st's full of useless players too...?

No in 1sts the playmakers bear the brunt of poor execution. Only losers who cant play lay the blame on the people around him..

Give the guy a break. Made 48 tackles yesterday and didn't miss one.

C'mon man..he should be making 14 tackle breaks 19 line breaks and 280m a game..

Jazz Tevaga made 72 tackles against the donkeys and still ran for 184m. 48 tackles from Twal is great but his job is also to provide go forward. Mikaele was the only forward to run for more than 100m which is troubling.

@Demps I'm not saying play all the dev boys for the rest of the season, but give Bradley a shot at LW, see how he goes, bring him back down after a game or two if necessary. Talau, Madden, Seyfarth can play a game or maybe two off the bench. That's not throwing them in the deep end, it's giving them a taste so they know how much more they need to improve over the off season and so they work their asses off to get where they want to be!
