Just got back from Macathur Square where Big Keith Lotte and Benji played host to hundreds of kids. Wow they were awesome my son cant stop raving.The boys all took photos with him and signed whatever he gave them. A great public display in the Macathur region it is all about the kids and the boys certainly made them happy today and displayed great patience. Thanks boys on behalf of the kids.

Days like that tend to cement life long memories for many kids. Great to hear the boys didn't disappoint.
 
Lucky for us we always have a healthy injury list,so we can send blokes out,but that is a good pr exercise,well done to the players who fronted up.
 
My young bloke met benji today and he still can't wipe the smile off his face. He was great with all the young kids.

This backs up the truth about the 'it's not always about winning' argument.

Because it is not.

While it might be all about winning to some hard heads on here there is much more to business of an NRL team these days.

In particular Lotte who is a dad himself made them feel real comfortable ,shaking hands, taking photos , joking around asking and answering questions real genuine. Kids are the best judge of character and mate there was plenty of smiles to be seen. Real nice for the kids exactly what another member mentioned its these little things that players do that kids remember forever. Mate if you were around my son (7 years old) kicking a tigers ball talking about going to the game Saturday night you would post a thank you as well. :smiley:
